. My fathers name is Alfred. I don't believe there is a little red guy with a pitch fork anymore than there is a old guy sitting on a cloud. I believe Jesus was a real man. A great teacher perhaps but the son of god? I think he would of been committed to a nut house if mental illness was known then instead of crucified. Personally I tried to read my Bible but it was a complex little book which was way over a fifth graders head, but still I repeatedly tried and I would like to think that little Gideon Bible planted a seed that only God could make grow.

Funny, I can name two preachers kids who I went to school with, the son is a dope head and had a failed marriage, the girl was spreading it in school at the drop of a hat and has cheated on her husband numerous times.(while working in the church ironically enough) I believe they are now in Jellico. As for me, my father was in public service, on my first marriage to a beautiful wife and mother of 19 years and have outstanding children who have never stepped foot in a church. Humans are just that. Hiding behind a book while pretending to be ever so righteous is just hypocritical and not a trait I consider desirable. I'm sure your god would agree.
