Everyone needs to call the central office and board members to tell them to move the meeting to the fieldhouse. I also think we should ask the radio station to cover the meeting on the radio. Maybe Danny could do the coverage just like the games.

I would like to know how one person can be an assistant principal at Lewis County High School and be a write in for the Mason County Board. I think that is just wrong that person should be dedicated to the school she works for to me that would be a conflict.
I believe that person has applied for positions over the years at Mason County Schools. She is a Mason County resident who pays Mason County taxes and unless something has changed in the last couple of years, I believe also has children in Mason County schools. She took the job(s) in Lewis County to advance in her chosen career since she was not given the opportunity to do so in Mason County. She is a single mother trying to provide for her family the best that she can. Just because she works in another county, really? Maybe you would rather she be on welfare.

My husband worked at DPL. So as a residnt of Mason County would he not be a suitable candidate?

Her kids attend school at Mason County so obviously she believes in the School system here or she would be hauling them to Lewis County everyday. People amaze me? smh

wouldnt another stanfield be part of the problem still. just curious since theres too many stanfields in positions at the schools?
Penny has been divorced from the Stanfield man for many years now. Her son is a student at Mason County. She is an excellent certified public accountant, very honest and by-the-book. Professionally, I would recommend her to anyone and say that she is beyond reproach. I have also noticed that she is very active in the community; volunteering her time with the Maysville Chamber of Commerce, the Germantown Fair, MYWC, etc.
I know of 2 Stanfields that teach at Mason County, plus one that is retired. By all accounts they are dedicated teachers and good people.
I don't know who would be the problem you are speaking of, but if there is a problem, don't tar Penny Applegate Stanfield with the same brush.

The Stanfields employed by the school currently (as well as Terry, who is the retired teacher even old Farmer Fran had in school and was an EXCELLENT teacher) are from out around Lewis County if I am not mistaken. Even if not, I don't judge a person solely on their last name. I know plenty of people with the last name Jones and while some of the men are two bit thieves, the women 2 cent whores, and all around trash, others with the same name are hard working folks. Point is, do not cast a vote or create a problem with someone just because of their last name. Being a CPA is not something you get for attending a weekend at the Hyatt. My poor CPA just loves when I walk in with boxes of things for them to sort through and she has got all these nifty little plaques and certificates behind her desk. So I know it's hard work that requires a keen eye.
Now, I don't know Mr. Gifford on a personal level but I do know his place of employment. And that alone is grounds for me to stay away from someone who associates with the crew who works out there (for what it is worth, I have never had to use one nor would I even consider one of those rental places....I would rather sleep, sit,****, make a fake TV out of a cardboard box, or eat off the floor before paying double for something they "sell" that I could get at a much better place for a much better price). I've had the pleasure of walking by that rat hole one afternoon and listen to that big headed lady who's face looks like a pin cushion drop f-bombs after f-bombs at an actual customer for not paying their bill. Pretty classy, huh? And throw in the guy who delivers that lives out in Fleming County that can keep his herpes infested willy in his drawers (yes I know this because a good friends of Farmer Frans had their daughter explain to them what she had and where she got it....of course she is a bit older so she knew you pay to play and sometimes that prize lasts a lifetime.... but still, HERPES? blah, that **** don't go away!). Fine group of folks out there. There is an old saying:

"You can judge a man by the company that he keeps"

If that's the company he keeps, well, we don't need someone like that.
But this is only Farmer Fran's personal opinion....and opinions are like as*holes, everybody has got one and everybody's stinks but mine.
