I can't believe how much Clear Channel has ruined Philadelphia Radio. I am in the demographic they are trying to target and I won't be listening. I listened to 106.1 all the time, especially in work.

You have got to be kidding with this change in format for 106.1. It is awful. It's a joke. There is not a channel on the FM radio dial for adults with any class or taste to listen to now that smooth jazz is gone. Way to go.....clear channel...I am headed for satellite

I am not a happy camper. At noon today, Smooth Jazz in Philadelphia at WJJZ 106.1 went to R&B. This leave NO SMOOTH JAZZ in Phila. That music genre made me happy. I listened at work everyday, at home, in my car, all the time. I just hope some conglomerate comes along and re-introduces "Smooth Jazz". I need my Dave Koz, Boney James, etc fix.

Way to go !
Take off the only station in the city that didn't require diving for the volume control everytime a song came on.
Let's fill up the airwaves with more "Formula Format-They'll Listen To Whatever Garbage We Play-Infomerrcial Sounding Announcers" junk !

This format change is extremely disappointing! I am a woman in the "target age" and I do not plan to listen to the new "Philly 106.1". Philadelphia needs to be part of the smooth jazz market! I listen at work and during the drive and during the evenings. This new format no longer works for me.....

This is a travesty!

106.1 was the ONLY music station I listened to religiously. How am I suppose to hear Boney James or Brian Culberson now? Clear Channel is run by MORONS!

I am so mad and disappointed that Clear Channel took a quality smooth jazz channel off the air today. Whoopi Goldberg and that trash sound they propose will not be part of my daily ritual.
I used to listen to WJJZ all day long, everyday. Unless I see them put smooth jazz on the other pulled channel,(104.5) I pledge that I will never listen to another clear channel station.
This was a terrible move by the corporation.

I am so bummed. Without my smooth jazz I'll probably just hum to myself all day. Everything else on the radio is swill.

I am very disappointed in the format change for 106.1. It was my favorite radio station. I hate the new sound & won't be listening to anything from clear channel ...maybe it's time for satellite.

I am disappointed with "cheapchannel's" latest move, eliminating smoothjazz off the Philly scene. This is one of the main reasons I have Sirius. Clearchannel has never really had their listeners interests in mind. Whoopi in the morning? Give me a break.

I can't believe it! Two more years of George W, and now no Jazz in Philly. Two huge mistakes.

Both my wife and myself are extremely upset about losing WJJZ. We live about 60 miles from their signal, but were able to get a good signal. I will tell you a truth that cannot be denied. Radio is dead. No matter what format you listen to, you will get the same rotation of songs played, over and over and over. Is anyone out there as sick about this as I am? Even on WJJZ, songs were repeated endlessly, except on Sunday morning and night. There is so much great music for any format out there. And forget about going into another city and looking for a refreshing format. How many Hawks and Cat Country, etc... are out there. Congratulations Clear Channel. Even though WJJZ played the heck out of the same tunes, it was a breath of fresh air on the FM dial.

I am very disppointed with clear channel! When I was coming out of a coma five years ago the nurses would keep WJJZ on for me. That radio station really helped me to come back and fight for life!! Every since then i have been a devoted fan. And this was a matter of life and death!... How dare you take it off!!!
