Childrens Voice

As terrible as today has been, tomorrow shall be even worse as we begin to see images of the children and the lives they lived. The smiles. The Joy. The Innocence. For them, there will be no first dance, first kiss, first love. Their families are in my thoughts and prayers. Their loss is ours. I hope we all take a moment to pause and thinks of them, theirs, and what we can do to make our tomorrows less filled with hate and more filled with compassion and love. The monster that did this was void of both.R.i.p. 20 angels

My heart goes out to the families. I am many miles away, but feel close to them and wish I could give a hug to the parents. So little---but it' all I can think about. My prayers wll also name all the agencies to give them courage and strengh to endure the nightmare that awaits them. This news has made me physically sick. But, it will happen again and again. Why, I do not know. I do know when I was little and later growing up I never had a thought or heard of being afraid to go to school or to church. What's happened? What can we do? What can our government do? I do know many of the mental hospitals have closed. I remember when Eastern State Hospital, Knoxville, closed many of the patients were let go to the streets. Shortly after a patient, Mr, Patty,(I think) walked down Gay Street, shot and killed an innocent lady who was walking down the street. For one thing the government could open mental hospitals instead and closing them. Another would be to provide mental health care to all citizens. Now care is not affordable except for the very rich. Even with insurance much expense is charged to someone. With no insurance and not rich, you and your family gets very little and no medical care. What are the things we as caring people can do?

My heart is broken for the loss of these innocent babies. Someone left a comment with the address to the school if you would like to send a sympathy card. Let's give them an outpouring of love. As helpless as we feel in this situation, I think we can all do at least this. These families have lost their precious angels, just days away from Christmas.:(

You can help by forgetting you ever read this man's name, and remembering the name of at least one victim. You can help by donating to mental health research instead of pointing to gun control as the problem. You can help by turning off the news."~Morgan Freeman~

Prayers going for these families. It's sad that someone would take the life of a child or anyone else for that matter. They were just babies and it's heartbreaking!!

Stay strong stout hearts. It is a mean trick of nature that hearts so broken should beat still.God be with you all.
