The manager is being transferred from corning ar. All the others will be from maynard, they will take apps at corning and pokey, but if you go to corning to fill out app be ready to stay for at least 30 mins because you have to do a knowledge test. all the positions has been filled at this time, but feel free to come and fill out app you never know could be changes with employees. We have a very good team working together to get our business running great. store should be open in a couple weeks.

The store is GREAT/ but the checkout girl is not friendly at all. No hello, or thank you at all, just a long face. Trying to remember where she worked before with that same attitude. Maynard cafe some time back, maybe.

I was Brandy's boss as well as co-worker and I never saw where she was unfriendly to anyone. Brown's Diner was her first job and I don't know about you "shopper" but obviously you must read people's expressions wrong. She was shy beginning her job, but I was as well when I got my first waitressing job. Six months later I established my own diner in the same little building. My point is most people are a little on the shy side when starting new jobs. I think she will do excellent at Dollar General. Oh by the way "shopper" howcome you didn't put your application in so the world of Maynard can see your smiling hellos and goodbyes?

Thank ya amber..i dont know why ppl like to talk about other ppl on here. its retarded. If they have something to say about me.. go to Heather(the manager)and tell her what you think about me. instead of on here.

Your welcome! All I know is I don't like people talking about other people and using names like "shopper" lol. But in all seriousness don't pay attention to that because although your my sister in law, I wouldn't have worked you if I didn't think you were a good enough worker.

oh and by the way, I dont have to be greeted and said goodbye to. I understand the first day jitters. what matters is we now have a choice of where to shop. I love this little town and we needed a place like this desperately. Im very proud of our new place of business and hope more come in because with new businesses also come new grants that will help our tiny little town grow. Thumbs up to all who have worked to bring Dollar General to our town, and to all who are working there!

It sucks. Enough said. Walked in and never heard a hello can I help you with anything. Or thanks for shopping have a good day nothing at all. The people that was in there today need a serious attitude change and need to be more friendly.
