Wish they would hurry up and finish the bridge and not take another 2 months.

hahahaha, The one there at Mayking? Yeah, they're not going to hurry up and work themselves out of a job with the state. That's their cash cow. If they hurried up and got things done when most crews would, they wouldn't be able to bilk the state out of several hundred thousands of our tax dollars.
Hell, anyone who has ever worked in construction knows full well they could have been done two to three months ago completely, with both sides of it.

I know. And to thingk, it doesn't take that long if they started from scratch, and had to build the abutments for it, then form and set the pilings, then the substructure. From scratch that small bridge would have taken a real crew less than 3 months from start to finish. And even that, would have been strechting it out a little bit.
Ever watch road crews build much much larger bridges on an interstate? At most, even for those really long ones, it's like 4 to 5 months, even when they are more than 80 feet off the ground.
What was the old TV show? The Fleecing of America? Yeah, that's for sure the "Fleecing of Kentucky" at it's finest.
