i cant believe that dingbat called the cops, im surprised the cops did not tase the mother and child before they illegally arrested the mother.
Note: the lady arrested should sue the city for this act , ARK. does not have a statute about breast feeding and alcohol.

the police are getting more stupid everyday, who needs em,

You know, you just have to ask yourself; Faulkner County has Judges taking payoffs, a boat load of unsolved murders, mass political corruption just to name a few, and this is the best story 20/20 can come up with?
The answer is

Damascus, AR

Yes, there is no question that the waitress is a dingbat. The officers did have to make a judgement call on this one; you must also understand that Police Officers can't stand flatfooted and quot every law on the books, not even a Judge or Attorney can, simply because there are thousands of them on the books. Now, dose Conway Police have a hard on to arrest everyone they see breaking the law no matter how small and meaningless it is? Yes, I think so. I have no doubt that the officers had the best interest of the child at hand; but this lady was in no way drunk or placing the child in danger. It was a poor judgement call. The problem isn't that police in Faulkner County are getting more stupid everyday, the problem is that the officers have piss poor leadership. Make no mistake about it, no matter how you feel about them, we do need them. If you think not, look at places where the civil government had collapsed and had NO police; remember Iraq and the Bulklands when the government fell apart? The fact is, we could not survive with out police. Nothing is prefect in life; and people are under the allusion the police should be perfect beings that don't make mistakes, but they are just like the rest of us, they make mistakes to, because we are all human.
