I have to agree to make Remington a better place to work you need to get rid of management. The new plant manager is great cool dude whatches what goes on, the rest of the supervisors are useless. When they feel like the job is getting done they get rid of you, they want to keep you a temp for 10 months or longer if they would hire there temp or after 90 days say u hired or you fired it make a big differnce. I biggest of all they need to get rid of Billy Lamb, all he does is run around running his mouth causing people to quit or get fired and they wont do anything about it.

Yeah, to make it a better place to work we need to get rid of the people that actually make us do our jobs.

I heard they got rid of 2nd shift leads, even if you are remingtom you can still lose your job! Management don't care about you or your family, look at mike 3rd shift lead they throwed him in the job and he has to figure out what his duties are Hell his first night on the job Dennis wasn't even there, its all about quantity not quality just how many guns can we get out the back door, people need to speak up to mike o'connor and let him know how things are run and how we are treated just so we can keep our jobs, more shit going in the dumpster than in a box

I worked there a year ago and they kept me long enough to let me go before my 90 days were up. I worked myself like a dog in that place. Spent more time there then I did with my family, only to discover they were going to can me. While there I saw a bunch of hard workers get told not to come back. Really sad how that place is. They need to do away with the temp service. It is a waste of time to treat people the way they do. I wouldn't step foot in that place again If it was the last place to work.

You all might as well quit bitchin about management at Remington. The place has been there for 15 years now, and always had crappy management. Nothing you say or do will change things around that place. It's always been quanity instead of quality. I worked there for a very long time, until I couldn't take it any longer. The way they use the temps up, is disgusting! The supervisors are jokes, and so freaking lazy! The best thing to do is get out before you body falls apart, from them working you to death, and while you still have your sanity!

sign up and vote for the union, the only way management can be checked. plus a well deserved raise it would bring.

Union is being pushed by the ones selling that dope.. who in that plant would you want sitting across the bargaining table from remingtons lawyers? Heres a novel idea, show up and do your job. Nobody has been fired for that

I feel I'm being set-up..... If I'm gonna write a negative statement about the place that i am employed I would at least use a diff. name... Man I've made some great friends, at least spell it right! I never check out the gossip, so glad I did. LOL Maybe I've got it all wrong, but I'm the only Reggie I know that works around this place, find another "user name" your making me looked bad, or u look bad, or whatever...:)

Temps Plus-Paducah... It may take a while to actually work for Remington, but it's a great job for this area, worth the effort I believe!

It would be a better place to work if you were paid in guns. At the end of the day, they handed you a gun on the way out the door. Now that would be cool.
