no,but what if? what if it was, like jpolin mo was last night.
would we still argue with one another like we do here?

would we scoff our neighbors? i seen some pics of joplin mo. and it made me almost cry because that could anywhere,it could be here.
people were in truck beds being carried to a makeshift hospital, theirs was destroyed.people sitting around bloody and beaten.
i wonder how graves co citizens would react to something like this. would we all pull together, would riots break out, would you lend a hand to your neighbor even if you didnt like them before?
made me think a whole lot about alot of things.

I ca nspeak from experience of the ice storm, that during that time people did everything they could to help one another. So I would say people usually put aside their defferences until the emergency is taken care of.That is just how people in this part of the country are.And speaking for myself,I am glad that the people of this area are like tha and I hope things never change for the worse.

Mayfield and Graves County have their faults. I have posted some pretty negative comments on here about the area. Mayfield and Graves county come together in an emergancy, example the Ice Storm of 09. People were out helping their neighbors and doing everything they could to make life easier for the ones that did not have electricty. When it comes to an emergancy situation Mayfield and Graves county are OK. As far as riots and looting like New Orleans during Katrina that won't happen here, too many law abbiding citizens with firearms. Nothing you can steal is worth getting shot over.
