Our Pastor is Rusty Wirt, and the ones commenting on here and using such hateful and judgmental tactics, are either not a part of cfbc, or have issues with our church...either way, don't listen to them...come see for yourself.

True, everyone is welcome. Look at the mess that just joined our church in the last 6 months! So bring it on, come one , come all. SMH

excuse me? What mess joined our church in the past 6 months? Everyone there are sinners, including you, Love. Get that plank out of your eye. I am a sinner, and I am welcome and loved there..I'm sure that you are too. If you think so lowly of our church family, possibly you should pray that God would lead you somewhere where He keeps the perfect people.

I loved CFBC when I attended. I had been out of church a long time when I started going there at the encouragement of a dear friend who said, "just give it a try." I was welcomed with open arms. I was NEVER judged. I was told straight up that it was not their job to do the judging. All they do is encourage a closer relationship to the Lord so that HE can do any changing in the heart that is needed.

They accepted me with love and open arms...divorced, live-in boyfriend, and tattoos. Just another sinner saved by grace.

like the church and the people but do have to say and not being ugly some things have changed since we have been there for the last 4yrs. Some only speak to you when they want to or have never spoke to you or your spouse and they are one of the leaders in the church. Thats a little disappointing I have to say.

I have been to CFB once.(It's a lot like His House, a Rick Warren "modern" church. If you had just a snap shot of the church services you would mistake both for a bar scene - the band jammin, the lights all but turned out, etc.) If it is the policy of the church to allow people to become members who are openly living a sinful life, that church is not following the bible so it's not the church for me. I am sure some lovely member will say, "So! If you don't like it don't come!" Don't worry, I'm not.

Well I do hope whatever church you call home allows sinners to be members. I don't believe for one second that you were saved and never sinned again. Even in public. I'm sure you said something rude, treated someone unkind, lied, or something since you were saved.

We should reach out to those who aren't going to church instead of getting people to come from other churches who are troublemakers and disgruntled.(remnant/grace point) but Then again cf was started out of trouble at Hickory Baptist. It may be catching up!

the leader that you mention...is it a couple or a single person? If you feel that way, let the pastor know...nothing can change unless you speak up. I too, have felt that from certain people, but I feel that there are people like that at every church. I hope that I am not one of the ones that never has spoken to you, I realize some Sundays that I haven't made it around to everyone that I meant to.

Have you ever noticed that the only churches that end up on topix are the only ones that are growing? The only exception is the church down the road. These churches are Actually doing something positive. Seems like the devil is up to no good. Maybe you people from the dead churches in this area need to work harder instead of being on here!

can't think of a more "dead' one then you. Hopefully this church works out for you cause you sure as hell have burnt bridges at the last five churches you've gone to.

if you are referring to Adam, the new keyboard player..he's not gay. Great job judging before you know the facts. He believes that homosexuality is a sin. Talk to him sometime before you run your mouth on topix...you might be surprised to find that he is a very funny and caring person.

Not Adam! But that poses a question as to why you would name him? How many are up there?
