Should parents be chared with criminal neglect when their children are injured or killed when riding ATV's illegally on the roads or on private property without proper safety equipment?

@ ranger o1,I dont know how old you are but when I was a kid there was no such BULLSHIT that took place. If a kid got hurt...well that was part of being a kid, and a learning process. It gave kids common sense on what to do and not to do, kids dont have that these days. Kids today are so protected from every little thing, they cant be kids. Parents cant bust their ass when they are bad for fear of being held "accountable" and facing having them taken away. I could go on and on with whats wrong this day and time, but I think its too late. The American people have let the goverment take over their lives. Everything from how big a soft drink you can buy to healthcare.

With all the deaths and injuries in your county, (Tina Russelburg killed, Wooley boy killed, Tammy Morefield in a coma for over 6 years)you would think that enforcement of ATV laws would happen. I guess until it happens to one of their own, the law enforcement agencies will turn a blind eye.

I don't know why you are posting adults names on here regarding ATV accidents when your original question is about charging parents for their children's actions. And, just think about when you were growing up, did your parents know everything you did? I don't think so!

That's amazing how you turned it into the fault of law enforcement, amazingly stupid, but amazing none the less. It's just Darwin doing what Darwin knows best.

What is amazing is that you did not answer the original question, however you defended your own.Now which is it, should the parents be held accountable for their kids safety or the police and sheriff's departments for not enforceing the law?
