I was pregnant till I was 30 weeks with my second baby when i switched doctor's from dr wynstra to dr mullner in Pad. I was having preterm labor and he wouldn't send me to western baptist to get checked out just incase i went into full term labor with my son. I wasn't due till March 28th and started having contractions Jan 1st of 2011. 3 months early! They said they didn't have the transportation to send me to pad from mayfield. I'm glad that I did switch when i did. I ended up having him 2 weeks early and he still had to be in NICU for 5 days.

Candie is very rude when u do not agree w her and if I don't agree w her she will take matters into her own hands. I hate a miscarriage 30 mins after seeing her after a check up. I am dr. Christiansen all the way I love him he is great he will do anything for u and make sure u have everything u need to be as comfortable ad possible throughout ur pregnancy I would never go to anyone else!!!!

I agree she is. I had to go to the birthing center for dehydration when I was 27 weeks. I aS so week I bE to lean against the counter to be able to stand. she came out of the nursery and told me I had to leave or go to waiting room because she was discussing another patient. then when a nurse told her that I was a nee pAtient, she got rude and said I still didn't need to be standing there.

I had Dr c all the way. he was awesome. both times I went to birthing center for dehydration and falling down the stairs, he made sure everything was fine and I had great aggregate for the visits. the only problem I had was I delivered very quickly and he took his time coming from his office. I was pushing by the time he walked in. but after he was great. checked one everyday and at the six week, he scheduled my pap smear.

I had Dr. Wynstra for all 4 of my children. I was enduced with 3 of them. I had blood complications and he was on top of them all. I did have to go to specialists in Nashville. He was a world famous Dr. he was very strange and rude. Dr Wynstra I feel was so much better and more concerned. He was great through my care and deliveries. Each were different. My last child came and he was on vacation. Dr. Burnett did great too.

I had dr. C and was kind of scared as he was my first male doctor, but in my labor process he was very compassionate about my pain, and I must say, it was my 3rd child, and my labor went by fast and painless, compared to my last 2 labors!

With Dr. C - I found out what sex at 19 weeks of pregnancy. Dr. C does seem short and like he doesn't want to spend much time with me or answering my questions. I am a first timer at this so I do have questions. But I've pretty much quit asking them because I know he doesn't want to spend the time talking with me. So, now I just read up on anything I need to know.

Does he do that often? I know sometimes they get backed up with him having to run over to the birthing center to deliver sometimes, he was always great with me and asked me of I had any questions, of if I was feeling well... Hope things get better for you!

My Mom is going through changes with menopausal issues and she said Wynstra didn't know anything about her problems and/or how to fix them. She then scheduled an appt. with a woman gyn. from Paducah and said she was great. Talked to her and informed her of what all was going on and that it was normal and what her options were. Then gave her options of medicines to try and her advice. I think she was great but I don't remember her name.

Yes, Dr. Christensen asks me "Do you have any questions?" Most of the time after we're done but he's like walking out the door when he says it. I can tell he's ready to get onto the next patient. I have asked him before and he'll say, "We'll talk about it next time." But we never do. He acts like we'll have time in the future to discuss stuff. When you're a first timer though you want your questions answered then so you can quit worrying. Plus you'll forget that question and have more later. I don't want to be having contractions and him show up a few min before the baby comes out and then we start asking and answering questions. It WILL Be WAY TO LATE then.

I was told by a very reliable source that he just gave another c section the other day. If you have your baby with him try to have it during business hours somewhere between 8am to 5pm or he'll want a c section for you.

He was never like this with me, he always stayed in the room until I asked all my questions, and I had my baby natural later that night and he stayed in the room and helped me through my contractions/pushing since I had the epidural and couldn't feel them myself.

Dr c was great during my last pregnancy. Answered all my questions. I was actually taken to the hospital the day before my first appt with him. I had lost a lot of blood. And he still made a point to come introduce himself and look over what was going on with me. The day of my appointment he looked at a few more detailed things then helped me get past i had twins n miscarried one. When i went into labor at 11:30 in the morning, he came and checked on me a quite a few times. And stuck around for a while after i had my baby at almost 10:30 that night. I did an emergency exam bc i had lost some blood at work one night and dr wynstra was already there on shift. Let me say, he was very rough n made me very uncomfortable. I lost even more blood when i left bc of him.

So Wynstra and C are in completely different offices right? Last time I needed a baby doc in Mayfield was 13 years ago and at that that time it was 1 office 2 docs. I just want to avoid Candie at all costs but I want to deliver in Mayfield.

Both doctors are at the same office, but if you don't want candie, then you should go with dr.C! You will love him!!!
