I think they are waiting for the state to say how much incentive money they will give them. But this would be great!!

It would be great for the community. Maybe someone would reopen the old plastics plant, as it once made a lot of stocks and other parts for Remington, and would be convienently located, saving Remington money on shipping.

100 jobs =100 more immigrants sending money back to their home country. 100 locals that will have to look and eventually move elsewhere for employment, some things will never change. It's the truth and you know it so dont' bother crying about what i said.

"i know" is an idiot! You don't know what you are talking about! Remington does NOT work that way.

First thing you need to do is get off the MAYFIELD board and back to your own. i damn well know exactly what I am talking about, cause I have lived and worked in this area my whole life.I watched that chicken plant being built while the owners bragged about how many LOCALS would have good jobs soon. They didn't say that the people they shipped in here from other countries would be those "locals".So next time you want to run your mouth, do a little research first.

You must not know much about this area, or you wouldn't say that. Everyone knows about the chicken plant working wetbacks, but Remington doesn't work that way. They have been there in Graves County since 1996, and have good jobs with good wages. I worked there briefly, helping them open the plant. Perhaps you are a disgruntled turned down applicant who is bitter about others having an opportunity?

Helped them open the plant? So after it opened you no longer worked there so how do you know so much about the place 14 YEARS later?
Sounds fishy maybe you are one of those types getting paid under the table. What would I be bitter about? Since I own and run my own business in this area. A business I might ad that needs people in this area that have jobs so they can afford to pay me. If everyone moves away to find a job then businesses like mine will close and leave also. After everyone is gone what will happen to this town? So what is so wrong with locals getting those jobs?
whatever

"i know", you really are clueless! I have lived in graves county for 44 years and worked at Remington for the last 8 years. I think i know a little bit about them. They are not at all like the chicken factory. It is a decent place to work and pay a decent wage for around here. And they DO NOT hire the illegals. If we do get this expansion, it will be great for graves county!
