Almost got some early through the week..but sure didn't want too die or get cheated ...i know people b mixing vodka and sprite together and such..

Shake it up. Big bubbles that disappear quickly means its higher proof. Small bubbles that take more than say 5 sec to completly disappear indicate high water content.

thats the same thing i heard from a relative that was a moonshiner in the prohibition era

pour a spoonful ,then try lighting it with a match,if it will burn a flame, you got somin..the burn works 2 ways tho!!!

cant u also tell how good it is by the flame color if u put some in a shot glass and light it? heard that one before too.

You cant tell if your shine is poison by looking. You have to trust the shiner didnt use a cars raditor to make his shine(lead poison makes u go blind) copper pot still is best but alumium will work fine. People with a little know how will use a aluminum raditor cause its real easy the problem is that any raditor older than 5 years old probally contains lead. ( lead cost pennys per pound vers aluminum at dollars per pound). Dont drink it if your not sure. Word to the wise. Legal spirits are finer quality and much safer.

The darker the blue the better. Any impurities in the shine will give off colors in the flame. The longer it burns the better

I just read where small bubbles dissipating quick is high alcohol content. So what is it big or small bubbles?
