So you think the USW will help you all out. Keep in mind that they got not one, but two different plants in the area shut down because they refused to listen to what employees wanted. Also, don't forget the incident at honeywell, and that they did those guys absolutely no good at all. If you guys think you need a union, go ahead but for the love of god, please pick a better one than the USW.

Another progress rail in kentucky they are union lowest paid guy 17.25/hour...insurance 6/week family plan...there is a doc. That progress sent to the government to get some funding in the letter ut said all rmployees would start at 15.25/hour how many people make that?
The $15.25 is a median wage as in average, so some are less some are more. I read the same article.

If a Union is voted in, the plant will gradually move to other non union plants and shut down... more people out of work. I believe in equal rights, fair wages and opportunities, but the reason Ingersoll and General shut down, in addition to Goodyear, is because of the Union always wanting more... there are people waiting to take a job that some apparently don't appreciate. There is always someone standing there waiting to take your place and companies know this. If either Progress or Remington vote in a union, the plants will shut down. They don't need you as bad as you need them! Plain and simple!

knows what will happen:
exactly. it WILL dissolve elsewhere. a union no longers serves the purpose. all pro-unioners see is "more money"....where is it going to come from? the cost to keep workers is going to exceed profit, and EVERYONE will lose their jobs. So far, PRS is doing so much of what was asked of them. All the managment people were griping about? they are all gone. why keep pushing? greed? idk. there are going to be alot of families who are feeling the effects of what just a few of them have started if USW goes through. this economy already sucks and prs keeps our heds above water. they are trying to come to an agreement; workers should too. in a business mind, a union, here is not in favor of anyone. the only "equality" that will come feom the union is the "equal" amount of job loss. please don't vote it in and make it hard on my children and yours...

If they were so concerned with us then why did it take the threat of a union to get these people out and who says their gone they could bring them back anytime they please its to little to late! And you think cost will exceed profit that's a bunch of bull how about all of these huge bonuses managment gets while employees get squat! Without a union they could lock us out tomorrow with no severance no nothing and since you know so much if its just what a few people want I guess ypu have nothing to worry about!

Listen to me when I tell you that if the union comes in progress will shut the doors. Go to the unemployment website and read the job description for the replacement for bob the hr, and that's progress writing it. The fact of the matter is that there is hardly anyone there worth what y'all think y'all should be making. A lot of vmv refugees and druggies and idiots. Anyone around here with any real talent works in Paducah. Well I take that back there is Gary and Darrel and Freddie and they all came from vmv. Progress does not produce the work to pay union wages and half of what gets sent out is wrong. So careful what you wish for. I'm sure y'all are all over paid for your skills. So. If you wanna draw unemployment then vote yes for union.

Really, well I make $30 a hr. what do you make. And a company can move or shut down a factory any time. That's the owners choice. Oh yea, and I sure do wonder why ever since all the grants from the government ran out everything down there is so strict. Actually we pulled a loco from our tract that progress supposedly fix, and dropped it at the gate at vmv for them to redo. Talk all the lies to everyone else but I see what comes on the rails shit for brains

if the labor laws kept a plant from shutting down, prs wouldnt have a building because ingersol would still be there. ky is a no fault/at will state. mark my words, vote yes and it will be "a little too late". i know the uswa is.promising you guys a bunch of stuff, and i can promise unicorns that crap out rainbows, but unless it exsists, it isnt going to happen without SERIOUS consequences. arrogance and ignorance will not help here. get a business degree and study trends in this area and you will see just how dangerous this is. better yet, go talkbto the uswa people at honeywell. see how that year of being laid off helped their families while the uswa "foight" for them. PRS is the best place to.work in mayfield. if you want OT, you get it 90% of the time. insurance? really? i dont know of another plan that coats less than 200/a family a month that covers a tenth of what yours does. you want change? the reps in boaz had no idea what was going on until the mngmt couldnt hide it anymore. they found out and fired them. they are NOT coming back to PRS. they admitted they were wrong and fired the ones ou all were so desperatly complaining about. lets be adults and stop the name calling. you want your company tobrespect you? they just dis exactly what you asked for, how about cooperating and compromising so youvaren't gambling with the lives and futures of every employee and their families because you are being selfiah and greedy? uswa is just a clever acronym for a politician. they will promise change. they will promise you the grass is greener. well friend, from.plenty experience, it is only greener because of the shit it holds inside as fertilizer. vote yes and you are voting for your future to become very bleak. i can promise that.

so right, but the unoin is worse than a politician. I think most of the problems are coming from the general tire gang.

You may want to read this. The similarities are oddly similar. Notice "PRS would not shut down" and "the gap was too large between the employees and company.."? The unuion makes all decisions for you and you only get what they tell you. funny thing to remember here, uswa still gets a paycheck reguardless if you lose yours. really think tgey giveca crap about you? The company has made the first step in trying to resolve the issues based on your demands. compromise and come to an agreement together-sans union. dont screw over mayfield and the children that wil live with your very obvious mistake.

the article is to prove that the union decidedİ- not you. it is to prove that s company CAN shut down because of the differences and irrationalities of demands. the unions job is to make it seem like everything is the companies fault. mr jones could blow the building up because hes high and the union would blame the company for having anything flammable. CAT had its profit rise? think about why. the economy is down so locomotives are being ran more, oh, and the ability to keep production cost down without union. if every prs plant went union and demanded 25+ an hour percworker, the company would fail. take 1 econ class and you will learn that before goig home the first day. keep being unreasonable, and we will sll be paying for it when we didnt even get a vote.
