i did look it up on the internet. How do you think i know about your crappy town and shitty schools! We send our kids to county school because we live in the county, duh! And your great union couldnt do anything for teresa! She got fired for threating another employee. We dont know why you are making alot of room for the marlin stuff. I guess you need alot of room to make the lever action. We are more streamlined than that. And we DONT make 10 bucks an hour!! Mind your own damn business!

MANAGEMENT HAS SPOKE. Did you get any of h&r. No. Did joe gross come from the mohawk valley.NO. WHY IS REMINGTON IN ILION MAKING SO MUCH ROOM FOR Marlin? IM NOT THE BAD GUY. AND WHY DID Teresa LOSE HER JOB? MY UNION WOULD HAVE HELPED HER AS LONG AS SHE NEEDED IT
Never said you were the bad guy but it is obvious you are taking this topic in the wrong direction. No I am not part of management, just hourly, like you. It's not my place to comment on why Teresa lost her job but I see that Remgal didn't mind. Don't know why you all are making so much room, ask your management, or can you???

<quoted text>Just wanted to comment that Teresa does'nt work for Remington anymore so she does'nt have a boss. As far as a union, we try to keep that out. We like to believe that we have an open door policy and if we have issues we try to work them out between ourselves and management. As far as starting a union rumor, we don't need that now, we have better things on our agenda, like expansion and hiring an additional 100 ppl.,and now that we will be building 3 of the 4 lines of the Marlin rifles our interest is to make sure that we are building top notch quality product for our customers, we have a job to do and we will succeed.
I never worked for remington..my nephew works there.

maybe you shouldnt act like an employee and make comments about things you know nothing about. The pay scale you posted is not right. Apparently everyone thought you were the teresa that use to work there and got canned.

So, Teressa, Holly, or whoever you may be, is it your husband or your newphew that works at Remington?? Enquiring minds need to know, because in an earlier post it was your husband that works there. Evidently, you haven't spoken to either in several years so why not catch up to one of them and get updated before you start posting false information!!!

I never said my husband works there! You might want to go back and re-read the previous posts. The hourly wages isn't necessarily what people will start out as..I didn't say exact, I said about.

In an earlier post, you said you were sorry because you had posted under your daughter's name which is Holly. Well, if you go to Remington arms in Hickory to expand, comment #9 from Holly, said her husband works there. So that means your daughter's husband works there and your nephew works there. So, either you are full of SSSSHHHH., or maybe it's true what the new yorker's are posting, really hate to say that, but you don't leave me much choice! You know I think we might have gotten shed of QWE from ilion, but now looks like we're stuck with you. Why not post your nephew's name here and we'll ask him if he can keep you off from here!!!!

Really glad to here about the 100 jobs for Mayfield. Did anyone stop and ask where those jobs came from. If you didn't I'll answer it any way. Since Remington bought The Marlin Firearms Co they have or will cause 450 people to lose their jobs in New England. That boils down to two factories closed in two states. God Bless Remington.

All the corporations care about is the bottom line. How much does it cost to produce per unit. I'm thinking the factories they are closing are old and inefficent, and the plant in Mayfield is only 14 yrs old and much more modern. Also, I imagine there is a lower pay scale here. I feel for the people there who lost their jobs, but this is going on all over America. Be thankful they kept some of the the jobs here, instead of outsourcing overseas.
