Can anyone prove god is real through FACTS? Please don't answer with "prove he isn't" that isn't the question! Also no bible quotes only FACTS!

i can only prove it to myself-and tell others of him,as Jesus said in the bible, why are they gonna believe you about me now when you was trying to tell them about me when you were alive youre dead. this man was in hell begging for a cool finger of water on his tounge. hey i believe but i dont judge ppl who dont, having a relationship with God is personal and when he moves in your life youll see hes real thats my only answer.

i want you to try something.if you are serious about wanting proof of GOD,ask him to reveal himself to you in some specific way.maybe ask him to send someone to you,or to open your eyes to him.i believe that he loves you and wants you to know him.if you truly ask him,i believe he will answer and leave no doubt in your mind of his existance

Did god get consent before impregnating the Virgin Queen, Mother Mary !?! In some legal circles, that would constitute rape.

Why did Lot's daughters have sex with him? What moral lessons are we to learn from this?

God says you are to be responsible person.he says if you dont work and support your family you are worse than an infedel and dont deserve to eat.it dont take faith to pay bills, but obedience. Also, when you push on your brake pedal,do you personally see the brake pads work?no you dont. But you have faith in something to stop you that you cant even see.do you actually see electricity running through wires when you turn the lights on?but yet you are putting faith in something you dont actually see.

So you are saying that daughters should have sex with their fathers? Or you are saying that getting consent is overrated?

How about that one story... where the guy offers to give up his daughter to the gang of perverts, and they rape and kill his concubine instead, and then he cuts her into many pieces, and sends her body parts all over the world? What is God trying to tell us here?

if you knew the whole story it would be helpful.keep on reading and then tell how GOD said this is wrong and COMMANDS people not to do any such thing! And then there is JESUS telling us that we can have only one wife, and not to commit adultery! He even goes as far as to say lusting after another woman is adultery. He commands us to be 100percent commited to our spouses. That sure sounds like a awful GOD to me.if you are going to quote from the bible you need to tell the whole story.

So you discount the entire Old Testament? Didn't the Commandments come from the Old Testament? And didn't Jesus just say there were two Commandments? So which is it... 2 ... or 10 ? Which authority speaks the loudest for you?

see there you go again twisting scripture. Jesus did not say there were just two commandments. He said if you truly kept the two commandments you are speaking of,you will have kept them all.as far as discounting the old testament,no you dont,it is used for learning and it paves the way for the new testament which is when christ comes in the picture. Remember, christ is what christianity is all about.

I understand, but my story about the gang of perverted rapists was in the Old Testament, and Jesus is in the New Testament... anybody can just pick and choose passages which support or do not support what they believe... what's more profound, are those who gets their own principles, their own moral core... My point above is which is more powerful... the Old Testament, or the New... and Jesus's 2 Commandments does not directly correlate to the 10, and several of the 10 are ridiculous... like Obey your Parents, and Do not Covet... uh, blind obedience to authority is how we got war, genocide, and slavery, and being freedom loving people... actually, freedom is just required to be fully human, and not coveting...? Uh... our entire capitalistic nation would collapse immediately if there was no coveting. That is thought-crime. Thoughts are not criminal. Acting upon the wrong thoughts are.

i dont want this to get nasty, and believe it or not i kind of understand what you are saying. But i believe in a different way.to covet what someone else has is to want it so bad that it consumes you to the point that you will do whatever it takes to get it.thats where the problems come in. Thats when stealing and murders and such start. Thats why GOD says not to covet. Theres nothing wrong with seeing something and wanting to work and get it. But to covet it is a whole different monster

It doesn't have to get nasty. I'll straight up just say, Im atheist, and there's not much hope in coverting me to your side anymore. Martin Luther King Jr. was a good Christian man, and I liked him, so I cannot discount any religious person... in fact, Jesus has a great moral compass, and is a great person to aspire to. The 10 Commandments are a little crazy... the obvious ones... do not kill, do not steal... how about, do not hit? Or assault another person? The 10 Commandments skips that one. It makes it a crime to have sex outside of marriage, but even more so, it's a crime to even think about sex. Once you have thought about sex, you have committed adultery in your mind. That is what coveting is too. You admit that for capitalism to work, we must want something, in order to work and get it... and that is coveting! The top 3 are all about God, going to church, and how you shouldn't say Goddamn, and how the one God you are thinking about, is the only god in the world, and it's the same as everybody else's god. Well, as a nonbeliever, all of this is just horsedump to me. I would not force you to go to a Mosque, so why must I keep the sabbath holy, when I do not believe. There was a spot in Owen County, where you cannot get married by the County Judge unless you are married in a church... now... what da fkkk is dat about? That's not right or fair. This is why, having moral core, principles, which we use to guide ourselves is more important than the peripheral clutter.

We agree on Thou Shalt Not Kill, and Thou Shalt Not Steal. I'd add Thou Shalt Not Rape, and Thou Shalt Not Hit. Those are better poles to guide a society by than 10 or 2 Commandments... though Jesus's 2 Commandments did include loving everybody, and the Golden Rule... that's wonderfully logical.

i am not trying to force you into anything. You seem like a good person to me.i am a believer in christ and i do wish you believed like me. I am doing what GOD commisioned us to do,share the gospel.as far as only being able to marry in a church,i do not agree with that. I also believe we all have free will. I do not agree with you on your interpretation of scripture at all,but i do not dislike you.i think we have had a decent discussion, and i appreciate you not useing degrading remarks

As a nonbeliever who loves Jesus, I do not get many Christians willing to talk about Jesus with me. Usually it gets weird quickly.

i am not just blowing smoke,i really appreciate your honesty and how you have discussed this.i read your post again and i think i understand your question and will attempt to answer it the best i can.some of the stories in the old testament are pretty rough, but it is crucial to highlight just how special JESUS is.he changed everything.he did teach repentance, commitment, dedicati on.but he is so much about love, forgiveness and second chances.so i will answer like this, the old testament is important, but the new is much more so to me,because thats where i hear my saviours own personel words and teachings

That's a safe bet. There's a ton of weirdness in the Old Testament.

Jesus was a long-haired hippie. He went around, in sandals, with hippie hair, talking about peace, love, and freedom. He was a Revolutionary. He said to love our enemies. Love is the only way to get a crazy/evil man back, but it does not always work. It is hard to love your enemies... I cannot do this, but maybe, one day, I can aspire higher. Jesus sets the bar for what's right and wrong. He was speaking out against a Roman Empire, and look at us! We're the Roman Empire today! And where's Jesus, and the Christians? How come poverty has been with us for so long now? If Christians were really against poverty, how come there's plenty of churches everywhere, and just as much poverty? Sometimes it feels like blind obedience to authority. I've appreciate speaking with you. You seem to make your own decisions about things... so...
