My name is Amanda Beck and I live on Golf Cart Drive. This morning my husband and I found a note on our gate. I think he addressed this issue earlier. What I would like to say is that while it may be controversial what some people say on this site I do feel like it is a good thing that we live in a world where we can voice an opinion about anything. What isn't so good is that a lot of the opinions aren't so nice. I rarely get on the computer but I took the time this morning to check out some of the posts going back a bit. First of all,the attack on Jan Kincer was so mean. She is one of the sweetest ladies I know. She is kind as well. Get to know her and you will see. Secondly, I think it is wonderful that we live in a town with a club that promotes beauty with flowers. My favorite hobby is gardening. I absolutely love it and I think it is great that we have this club who wants to make our town more beautiful. I am from a very small town and unfortunately I have seen it slowly disappear due to no one taking the time to take care of it or try to beautify it. Thirdly, I do not think that the Housing Authority is anything that should be knocked. It is a great program to help people. Everyone deserves a place to live and have the opportunity to make their house their home. Golf Cart Drive is a nice neighborhood but I don't think it is snobby. There are some really great people there who look out for each other and just so happen to make their yards pretty in the process. If that makes people a snob then I guess I don't understand what snobby means. Please don't fault everyone who lives there for one bad experience. One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch. With all that is bad in the world I think we should try to all come together, to help one another and be supportive of one another whether it be amongst ourselves or in our community. It is important to ourselves and our childrens future to support our town and what it takes to make it better whether it be with flowers or with a friendly wave. It doesn't cost a thing to be nice to one another. Just a thought.

I agree with everything in your post other than the fact that Jan Kincer is the sweetest woman you know. Like just about everyone else she has you fooled. I dont call sweet posting signs up and down 45 calling people whores, neither do I call 45 minutes worth of voicemails on a friends phone telling her that her niece (whom has cancer, and is 15) is going to be dead in her coffin before long, and it will be all the aunts fault...So do YOU really know her? Dont think so!

This is by no means an attack towards you and I as well know many people that live in that subdivision. They all work very hard for what they have, but there are a FEW that have either married into money or have inherited money. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the subdivision itself. It is a very safe, clean, and beautiful subdivision. I totally agree with your comment stating that "one bad apple." I dont think that the whole subdivision should be looked down upon for a few rude people. I just have an issue with the statement that everyone should get tot know Jan a little better before talking about her. I do know her, and I was fooled at one point also but I seen first hand who she really is. I am by no means trying to turn you against her, I am speaking for those who have been done wrong by her. I understand she was going through a rough time in her life but you DO NOT bring children into a argument you have with an adult. No child should be talked about like that.
