I just heard that it was a baby and it was alive when they buried it. I don't know, that's just the rumors going around An anonymous tip to the Juneau County Sheriff's Department led to a gruesome discovery in Mauston. via WXOW-TV La Crosse

What you heard is true. the baby was around 3 months old and the mom is a junior at the mauston high school and her and her boyfriend buried it to put it out of its misery. Because supposible it had a diesase and was gonna die anyways. her friend who was thier at the time called the police. Funny how the girl brags about it and nothing has been done about it when the police know all this

The child was not 3 months old! I know the guy involved and I don't think he had anything to do with it. I've known him since he was 12 years old! There was no disease that the baby was suffering from. I don't even think the child was born alive! Have you ever heard of a miscarrage? It happens all the time it's a part of nature! So next time you want to play detective and start making facts up think about the people your slander causes pain. These are teenage kids we are talking about! Give me a break. Get a life!

so tell me what realy happen and why? this is on every ones mind so why is it taken so long to give out the answers?

and one more thing. what is going to happen to the babys body are they going to give the girl a name and give her the right to be barried like she should have. and are the parents of this baby going to be charged or are they going to get a slap on the hand because of who the mother is and who her family are. so when are the truth going to be printed?

What is happening here? This is not of a normal state of mind, this had to be the most terrible experience for all involved. Of course we are all curious and wondering, but what about the pain of all the family? Where was the parents of this teenage girl? how could a parent not know that her daughter was in fact carrying an infant child? I feel for all here!

I just think this whole thing is horrible. The baby was born dead. the mother of the teenager knew this and they buried it in the back yard. the boyfriend is taking the rap for it and i feel bad for him because he didnt do it. the buried was buried for months before anyone even knew what happened. it's just sad

Guess she didnt learnt he first tiem the mother of this baby is pregnant again. If something happens to this one is she gonna let the dad take the rap for it to. I think the mother of the bay and the grandmother should both be in trouble for concealing a corpse, the baby's daddy doesnt need to take the rap for what they did. IF the baby was born dead then why not tell the truth why have him take the rap explain that to me and yes i know alot about this case because I was friends with the girl. this whole story is just really sad and iam sorry call me judgemental but if the baby was born dead or alive doesn't it deserve better then to be stuffed in a shallow hole in the back yard of a house? It is 2007 and we have places called hospital's this girl should have used one. She looked pregnant back in June when i saw her so there is no way her family and friends didn't realize she was pregnant! So for the baby's sake i hope she goes insane with guilt for what she did to that poor little baby. I also would like to say maybe her parents would take alittle bit more interest in what their daughter is doing to make sure something like this wouldn't happen again.

hey good advice and I think yourtotally right wehre is the justce system for the parents of the daughter here, and to e pregnant again, thatis just unreal to even speak of..........Igrw up in that town and believe it or not things like this are not left un done nor unsaid ever.....live d learn is all i can say.

Curious, we used to live in Mauston a few years back. Wondering who the girl may be, my daughter would have been the same age? I do not miss that place at all, we moved because of things that went on in the school!
