BG City Schools moving to pay-to-play plan
After two levy defeats, Bowling Green City Schools are cutting costs. The district is moving to a pay-to-participate system, charging students for after-school activities.

During the last levy attempt it was made public that dozens of employees in the BG school system are making in excess of $80,000 per year, and administrators are making well into the six-figures. How about a pay freeze for everyone making over $80,000 per year and a 10 or 20% pay cut for administrators? That should save somewhere around $500,000 dollars for this year.
