I am still mourning the closing of Value City. I hated to read they treated their employees so bad. I just liked their variety of clothes, curtains, shoes, and purses. I have been at a loss as to where to shop since. Too bad they had a good thing and it must have been Corp. that ruined it. The store was always busy when I was there.

I loved shopping @ Value City from the day it opened till it closed! They got a lot of Dillards stuff and I even found my dress that I wore to my daughter's wedding about 6 months after the wedding for $39.00 that I had paid $150 for! Oh, how I miss that store!I do save a lot of money now since they closed in Memphis but would love to shop there again as I just won,t pay full price for anything now. Oh well, soooooooo sad!

Oh, boo-hoo. Value City stores are closed. You'll get over it. There will be new junk stores to open for your shopping convenenience. Value City department stores were nothing but glorified dumps.

I wish they would bring back a Value City Department Store I really loved that store. I could find everything that I wanted in one store. I see that they are bringing back a Shoppers World at Eastland and it will open up on September 2, 2010. I hope that soon we will get an Value City back here. BRING BACK VALUE CITY, BRING BACK VALUE CITY, BRING BACK VALUE CITY, BRING BACK VALUE CITY.

I'm glad that their closed. I worked there for ten years. When I first got there it was great. But then every year the corporate team changed. It got worst and worst. When we got laid off, it was bad. They treated us like animals. Now I'm free.
Pretty obvious why they went bankrupt if they had managers like you who can't spell - geez! Get Hooked on Phonics!
