Let's see...he's 15 and if we keep our fingers crossed he WILL be tried as an adult and then he now can be a nice young tight rape victim himself in jail! I have no pity for this reject!

15 is old enough to know better. I'd say something like "send him to prison" but we all know that won't happen. He'll go to juvie for a few years and then get out and be a useless member of society for the next 50 years. In many countries he would be executed. I'm starting to think those countries know what they are doing when it comes to punishment.

I am just waiting for all the "oh be has had a hard life" commments to start flooding in. I hope that he get his you know what thrown in prison and gets shown how being raped feels.

I know this kid. he's had a rough upbringing, let's all wait to pass judgment and get all the facts. He doesn't know any better. Pls cut him some slack and show compassion.

If I had been one of the people passing by he would have been shot...in a place where I guarantee he would never be able to rape anyone again. If I didn't kill him he would be laying in a pool of his own blood begging for death by the time the cops showed up to arrest his sorry ass

I had a rough upbringing as well and I am not out there raping women. Ohh and I didn't do it at age 15 either. I'd like to think most 15 year olds know between right and wrong but that would be asking a little to much wouldn't it.

Cut him some slack...are you out of your mind?? The only slack I would cut him is the little bit of slack in the rope before I hang him.

I know this kid, he is in my biology class and he is a very quiet boy, pays attention & i would never suspect he would ever do anything like this!

Although I really have no sympathy for rapists, the whole thing is a bit suspicious. Maybe they got the wrong kid, or maybe he didn't do it. That's what our justice system is for. If they have physical evidence and the kid didn't have any type of previous consensual ongoing relationship with the girl--I'd be VERY satisfied with trying him as an adult. Rapists don't really get rehabilitated. I wouldn't want him on the street.

Do you know what a rough upbringing is. Let me tell you. I grew up afraid of my mother. She never liked me because I was the first born and my dad adored me. She repeatedly beat me all during my childhood. I had physical bruises back then and today, I have mental health issues due to my childhood. I never told my dad because he was always working to fed his own three kids in addition to the four my mother had the first time she was married. She had a bad childhood too. But you do not pass it on to your children. When I got married and had kids, you can be sure I did not continue the abuse I had suffered in my childhood. I am 55 years old and still seeing a mental health provider for depression. This is a life time issue for me. So do not tell me he had a rough childhood. I am not out being a serial killer or doing any other horrific crime. There is no excuse. Let justice be served.

I do not understand how people spend their time judging others. Society is a mess. Sex is everywhere and the youth today are way to exposed too early. They barely understand the changes their bodies are transforming into, let alone what to do with the changes. This is a child who needs some counseling. But as I said already, none of us were there so we do not know all the facts.

Okay Sue, so you think this little guy is just letting off a little steam and trying to understand the changes going on with his body. Now why don't you take him into your home and teach him right from wrong. Maybe the next thing he sticks something into will be you. The youth today are no different from the youth of my day, so don't use that as an excuse. He did not make a mistake. He commited a crime!

He raped her, in broad daylight, on the side of a busy street? Something is very wrong with this person. I don't think I have ever heard of a rape like this. Did this girl go to his school? Is there physical evidence? We know there are witnesses, can they identify him? How did they find his house?

"Sgt. Sam Harris says he doesn't blame drivers for not stopping because they might not have known they were seeing a rape."

What did they think was going on? A date? is it common for people to F in the middle of the street in Toledo?

I remember when I was going through those changes, all pent up with energy and confusion, not knowing what to do with it. I raped quite a number of socks in my day.

Dick jokes, Guru? C'mon, you're above that. Besides, I only like to use thimbles to see how far I can shoot 'em across a room
