You say both parties are to blame, then you blame Democrats. What a crock. No one told banks to offer interest only loans, low teaser rates to people without income to support the ACTUAL rates. Republitards let this happen on their watch. They chose not to regulate the banks and mortgage lenders. We saw this coming. When I told friends, they said I was depressing them. What BS! The Republitards are reaping what they sowed and now enriching themselves in the "clean up". Vote for a straight DEMOCRATIC ticket, if you want CHANGE.
I don't want anger in America - just simple facts.

The presentation shows that both have hurt us...

Agreed, but how many Democratic administrations have we had since Reagan??? ONE VERY PROSPEROUS ONE.
It goes back before that, half of Clinton's Admin was under a Republican congress. Funny how when people are trying to defend democrat administrations they don't go back to Carter which gives you only one good (well not real bad) example. I wouldn't give him too much credit for the prosperous 90's which had more to do with the internet boom than anything he did. The only good thing I would say about him is that the government did expand less than under some other presidents. Which I guess is not saying he accomplished anything really good but that he managed to do less harm through omission, lol.

As for you stooping to blame McCain for the current economic crisis it proves you are a dirty diaper democRat who ignores the fact democRats went on vacation instead of addressing the energy crisis. That's the crisis that bought about the economic crisis thus many Americans could not endure the high cost of energy just like airlines, auto makers, etc. There is a ripple effect and democRats beholden to Global Warming contributors caused it, jerk.

Total ignorance if you think all this was accomplished solely by the Republicans. Our predicament has taken many years and several administration participating to get us where we are. Wake the hell up, even now they are going after the same goal, a bailout. The only arguments going on is who will benefit the most. And I don't mean between taxpayer or company I mean that the politicians are trying to get what THEY can out of this bailout. There are no more than two or three politicians working for you and I in there and it isn't Obama, McCain, Hillary or Bush.

The Dems didn't throw out the Glass-Steagall Act, nor did they trash the half-dozen other major bodies of New Deal legislation designed to prevent exactly this kind of debacle. I am sick to death of Libertarians like you who throw up their hands and say, "both sides are equally guilty". That is patently not the case.

If you cannot bring yourself to vote for Democrats because you think they'll mess with your right to own anti-tank guns, or you don't think their foreign policy provides enough jolt to your gonads, or because they believe in paying for what we spend, that's very unfortunate. Face it: we live in a two-party system, and you must choose one or the other.

The party that has run this country outright for the past 14 years has botched things worse than any government since the Buchanan administration. If you opt out by voting for Ron Paul or the tooth fairy, you have no one but yourself to blame.

Sound like Gov. Palin sides with Sen. Obama on several issues:
1) Sen. Obama's legislation that opened up the government's checkbook online
2) Sen. Obama's energy policy
3) Sen. Obama's policy toward fighting terrorists in Pakistan

It's sad when Sen. McCain has to control what Gov. Palin thinks and dismisses her thoughts…. how sexist!

They should be blasting Obama and his connection with Acorn and bill Ayers.

Look at the racist things he has said in his books:

From Dreams of My Father,“ I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASISVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER’S RACE”. Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams of my Father’,“The emotion between the races could never be pure, even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT; MENACING, ALIEN AND APART.”Barack Hussein Obama

From Dreams Of My Father:“That hate hadn’t gone away,” he wrote, BLAMING “WHITE PEOPLE — some CRUEL, some IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.” Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams Of My Father’,“There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote.“It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES, TO STRIKE OUT and name names” Barack Hussein Obama

Although Obama spent various portions of his youth living with his white maternal grandfather and Indonesian stepfather, HE VOWED THAT HE WOULD ‘NEVER EMULATE THE WHITE MEN and brown men WHOSE FATES DIDN’T SPEAK TO MY OWN. IT WAS INTO MY FATHER’S IMAGE, THE BLACK MAN, SON OF AFRICA, THAT I’D PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUGHT, the attributes of Martin and MALCOLM, DuBois and Mandela.”

He added:“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. THE MARXIST PROFESSORS and structural feminists.”

“There was something about him that made me wary,” Obama wrote.“A little too sure of himself, maybe. AND WHITE.”‘The Audacity of Hope’, Barack Hussein Obama

“THAT GHOSTLY FIGURE THAT HAUNTED BLACK DREAMS.”- Barack Hussein Obama,‘ Audacity of Hope’

If you think he won't make whites, pay; think again- maybe not in a check made out to blacks, but in free handouts and more affirmative action.

Wasting your vote is voting for someone just because you think they will win and not because they represent the values and ideas you believe in. You believe that the Republicans are solely to blame for this mess but you refuse to acknowledge or even look at the voting history of that gang of socialists you call a party. Sorry that so many of us do not roll over and think happy thoughts while the government has it's way but our country was not built on spineless lemmings. Now run along and donate your vote to the republicrats, it won't make a difference.

We SHOULD be worrying about THIS!

In a speech by Barack Obama given July 2nd in Colorado Springs, he uttered these words...

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

...in other words, a Special Security force that is under his direct control, unfettered by constraints placed on our military forces regarding action against citizens.

He also spoke of civilian service, which includes this...

We'll send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people.

...which smells to high heaven of the Hitler Youth, and the re-education activities of the Nazis.

Did you know that Barack Obama supporters in Missouri, particularly Chief's of Police, Sheriffs, and Prosecutors, have banded together in a group called... "The Truth Squad", who's purpose is to "go after" anyone running advertising that is deemed to be "untruthful."

Obama campaign cracks down on misleading TV ads
September 23rd, 2008

The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign.(Watch Newscast.)

Now, perhaps there is nothing wrong with pointing out untruthful, misleading information. But in this case, there is an implicit threat from law enforcement and the courts, that if you make political claims about Barack Obama, you will be arrested and prosecuted.

Does that sound like America to you?

I think that Barack Obama's Special Security Force, and his Missouri Truth Squad, composed of law enforcement and criminal prosecutors sounds a bit too much like Saudi Arabia's morality police. I think that these "thoughts" that are running through the head of Barack Obama forewarn of a very real danger to freedom loving citizens of the United States of America.

Have you never wondered to yourself, how the people of Germany could have allowed the Nazi scourge to become so powerful, or how the people of Germany could seemingly condone the horrific actions of their leader, Adolph Hitler and his minions? Have you ever wondered how the people of the Soviet Union could allow themselves to become virtual prisoners of their own country? What led up to the requiring of papers to travel from one city to the next?

I am afraid, fellow citizens, that this is exactly how such things happen. Let us learn from history, reject the false promises of socialism, and not allow such ego maniacs to become President of the United States.

This financial mess is due to Chris Dodd and Barney Frank and their lack of oversite in the banking and finance committees. The President, as everyone knows, doesn't over see these committees. The problem is these two boobs and their committees. This is the way this country runs. Now the idiots who were elected and caused part of the problem are trying to solve it, how stupid is this. A criminal investigattion should included the members of these two committees as well as the financial companies.

Biden should ease up. Both admit that they were C students and that economics weren't their strong suits. Don't blame them. Blame the Americans that vote for them. I mean, if Palin becomes president, we can't blame her for being incompetent. Who puts people like Bush, McCain, Palin, and Quale on tickets? People who know AMERICANS will elect them. Americans, it's YOUR fault when you vote for these IDIOTS.

This country does not have capitalism but a corporatist Oligarchy. That runs the country through those Oligarchies political drones that dumb people vote for, but Oligarchy bought out politicians via “legal” lobbies. It is a racket , or nothing is what it appears to be. It is fundamentally not sound ,opposite of what Bush says, there is no “fix” once average citizen realize how hollow this corporatist Oligarchy is , it will finally over.
