At least EE sees a disconnect between those who stayed in ELCA even though they disagree with actively gay clergy and those who favored it. It is also noteworthy that she makes a point that they "stayed even though they disagree" (one wonders why anyone would stay in a church with whose theology they disagree). It is also interesting that she says that the conservative majority "needs a voice" indicating that it has been clearly taken away from them and they are marginalized. Such is liberalism in the church, and such are conservative fools who stay to support teaching they disagree with.
