Sylvania to have hearing on rezoning request
Jerry Parker, a lawyer for Gressley, Kaplin & Parker of Toledo, for DJF Properties, petitioned property at 5904 Alexis Rd. and 5623 and 5625 Acres Rd. be rezoned as business from its residential designation.

I live in the area and find that Alexis Rd and the surrounding roads are not capable of handling any additional traffic brought in by the changing of the zoning code. After having read the zoning laws for the rezoning of those parcels, I believe that the request for rezoning does not comply with the zoning law. I see danger in the traffic and the pattern of such traffic. Alexis road curves right in that area and is already very dangerous. It is also an area that has 2 traffic light very close together and to have more vehicles trying to pull into main road traffic is going to impede the traffic follow.
