Ottawa Hills aims to cull deer herd; safety, nuisance problems cited
An aerial survey performed Jan. 12 counted 76 deer in the village. Officials note that the transient deer follow food and move back and forth across Central Avenue.

I live in the village, and think the plan to pay 30K to have 50 deer culled is rediculous. There has to be a safe way to open hunting up to bowhunters in tree stands for instance, in controlled areas, it would accomplish the same thing without cost to the village.

Well im a bow hunter and can say you have too be 500 feet from a house and cant hunt over cut grass and no hunting in city limits so find away around all that and im in for it and legaly i dont think a company can do anything with the deer without dnr approval
