To proceed with its parks plan, the Stallings Town Council will have to decide if it wants to start slower or pay more.

To use 2 million tax payer dollars in a park that is used mostly by non residents of Stallings, is a slap in the face to the citizens that live in Stallings. Come on Stallings Council put that money to good use, roads, sewer lines, infrastructure and things that benefit the citizens of Stallings. 2 Million dollars for a stupid doggie park, and a water park (which by the way is a huge opening for lawsuits). we need good roads, good storm water system and not a stupid doggie park.

I agree with the above post, to spend tax dollars in these hard times for a place to let your dog poop when we need roads is stupid. Take that money and pay for a years worth of yard waste pick-up, fix Oak Springs road, repair the pot holes on Monroe Road, put the bank roll Stallings has to good use.
