What are some good things to do in town? We will probably do the nascar hall of fame and discovery place. Any other fun stuff to do? Where are some great local places to eat?

We will be there to celebrate our anniversary and would also like to find a nice spa to get a couples message, any recommendations?

Go to Charleston SC or visit the NC mountains. You will be rather disappointed with anything in Charlotte. The Nascar Hall of Fame belongs in Daytona. In Charlotte, there is very little parking, and if you park in the wrong place, the city will tow your vehicle off quicker than you can blink. If you are set on visiting Charlotte, please, at your own safety, do so during day-light hours. Good luck.

Well, I live in TN and we are surrounded by mtns. Visited charleston on last anniversary. We've already got a room for the weekend. Just looking for fun couples stuff to do, the best local places to eat, maybe some things that aren't so touristy (other than the nascar HOF).

I'll make sure we are careful with parking. Thanks for the tip.

You are very welcome. Please don't take your great state for granted. My late wife and myself LOVED to go to Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg. As soon as you cross the border on I-40, you can tell your state is better just by the condition of the roads. I will visit Nashville and Memphis before I die, God willin' and the river don't rise!!!

Good dining in Charlotte....ok, here goes. The Greek Isles, on the south end at Bland St.( no kidding, that's the name of the street ), Big Daddy's in Mooresville, Joe's Crab Shack, Lineberger's Steak House in Denver, Audi's Mettirainan Grill in Gastonia. Please pardon my spelling. Those are all great places to dine. Good people, great service, and a slow paced atmosphere, and not too pricey. Ya'll have fun!!!

Thank you for the dining tips. We love it here. We are actually about 20 minutes from pigeon forge! We just like to try and visit a new area every anniversary :)

We used to have a Lineburgers in gatlinburg. Wonder if it's the same people?

No, these Lineberger's are a close knit family, and they have been preparing the best beef dishes for a very long time. I want to go to Alamo's, the Titanic attraction, and Ober Gatlingburg. But since my wife passed, travel just isn't the same. I am sure there are more good places to eat in Charlotte, but traffic is a nightmare. Just imagine the Pigeon Forge car show, everyday!!! All of the restaurants I suggested have websites with full menus.

Gosh I hope it's not as bad as car show traffic! Lol

I'm honestly not that impressed with Alamo, but you be your own judge if you come to try it. Titanic and Ober are both nice things to do while you're here. Hopefully you'll get to come visit soon!

Charlotte is a great city. Don't get me wrong, but the fags have overtaken this city. It's a pandemic or plague. Similar to Atlanta. I hate going on in cities and gay men hit on me. I F'ING HATE THAT MESS. Can't I just enjoy a night out and speak to ladies? Just because people are white doesn't make them gay. In addition, feminism is weak in this city. That's a good thing, but the fags are completely destroying it. One other thing is complete strangers want you to kiss their a((s))s if you speak to them. If not, you say something wrong they get angry. LOL The city has some SEVERE conservative issues. I can't wait until the Panthers break that image. Seems like Rivera is working on that with his game plan of going for it on fourth down.

Anyway, Charlotte is fun, but if you look around the city there's more fun things to do than what's downtown. Although downtown is fun too. Just make sure you have a date with you (if you're straight) of the opposite se((x)). If not, be prepared to get hit on by a bunch of fags. Personally, I liked them better before they came out the closet. Them and feminists have done NOTHING, but destroy this country. It's really sad the future of this country.

My "rant" seems to blend perfectly. Anyone who has been to Center City Charlotte knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Is it uptown or downtown? Heck we don't know. We'll call it Center City. That way no one can be offended.

No there are no ninjas in hidden valley only Lil happy nomes that make ranch dressing. The hidden valley gangstas are a bunch of midget circus clowns that put on shows for visiting tourists. They also have wine tasting. So what if the wine was made in a toilet. Also be sure to try their signature dish ramen noodles with summer sausage it's the best meal you'll ever over off a commasary sheet.
