This is akin to a cemetary in Oklahoma that had a sign declaring Mormons could not be buried there. The idiocy of people just has no ending lol.

That's fair, isn't it? For one to join a troop in the same church that is of the same faith?

Absolutely not. Their bible is not the Christian Bible. And Mormons are not Christians. No Christian church will ever teach that Jesus Christ was Satan's brother, that anyone who is good enough will one day become a god and have their own planet, nor that the Holy Scriptures are even in the same universe as golden plates and magical glasses. A church that does not allow a Mormon into a Christian association is exactly right. What I find sorry is that America has become so all inclusive. Thank the Lord above that finally after so many years, Christians are standing up for Christ and keeping to the Word of God.

My friend, that you use profanity in your comment says everything that anyone needs to know about you. Much more so than the fact that you stated such an utterly incorrect statement that Mormans have the same bible as Christians.

They do not use the same bible you dolt, Mormons take the King James version of the bible, and edit it to fit their idealogy, and they then print out their own copies.

I cant stand the mormon faith, good for this church not letting them accept positions of leadership. They are only one step above those lunatics who practice Scientology.

REALITY CHECK - the Boy Scouts are not based on a Christ Covenant Church religious faction

I bet my buck to your dime that this Church does not adhere to the FULL teaching of the Bible!

... which makes THEM LESS than totally adherent to the teachings of the Bible!

No, you need to check your facts. It is well established fact that the Book of Mormon and the teaching of the Mormon church have nothing in common with the Bible or its teachings. The Bible mentions false prophets and the Mormon church is founded on the misguided teachings of one such false prophet-Joseph Smith. One of the key differences, and a very fundamental one too, is that Christians believe that accepting Jesus as your savior and confessing sin is the only way to gain heaven. The Christian bible makes it very clear that there are no alternate paths. Mormons teach that good works or good behavior will get you there. The bible makes it clear that Jesus is the son of God and that Satan, the father of evil, is a fallen angel. Mormon doctrine, however, teaches that Jesus and Satan were spiritual brothers. I could go on listing glaring differences but the two above examples should be sufficient.

MY FACTS ARE CHECKED - I know for fact that they DO STUDY from the Bible (why didn't YOU know that with all those so called facts?)
You do know that their Church is called
"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" ... and who don't they believe in?

INTERESTING!! This just tells me you are a follower of doctrine and not a true follower of Scripture.

Other wise you would not be so blatant as to have said that ...
You must think your God failed to know ALL THINGS like the becoming of Satan! As well ad the fact that there may be a God known wisdom for why He created such a being?

I suppose your God is too stupid?
My God know all as indicated in Psa 147:5
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

ALSO - Isa 45:7 -- I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

That CLEARLY SAYS He created evil - and when you (or anyone else) gives life to another - it is logically a Child of YOUR doing.

You make it - you own the responsibility of it's fruit's

Our Father in Heaven sent Jesus to help us to repent of our sins. Jesus teaches us the things that we should do to avoid sin. He also gives us strength to do these things. When we believe in Him and follow Him, He changes our hearts so we do not even want to sin, but want only to do good. If we do not want to suffer for our sins, we must believe in Jesus. Those who truly believe in Jesus repent of their sins.

... and what religion do YOU ACTUALLY THINK is faultless?

I am religious! I religiously wash my hands when I am finished using the toilet!

and the confessing of sin makes you sound like a Catholic - which is in fact a derivative of Christianity - it is as a matter of fact not the original Christianity ... it is in fact Pauline Christianity as are most Christian sects and fails to follow the Doctrine of Christ as a faith.

lolol....who exactly do you think created Satan? Where exactly do you think he came from? Where did he reside before being cast out of heaven with 1/3rd of the host of HEAVENLY ANGELS? God created us all. That means at one time before Satan and a third of heaven were cast from there, we were all there together as SPIRITS of the same HEAVENLY FATHER. THAT MAKES US ALL SPIRITUAL BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE SAME GOD IN HEAVEN.
You know you can learn all of the above from the NT and Revelations especially? How stupidly ignorant are you? If you think Satan was created by a different God then the one that created all of us, PROVE IT. Other wise, shut up, sit down, read a Bible and get educated :)

Well I have read the Bible and it calls Satan an angel. Angels are not dead people flying around heaven waiting for a mission(Like Moroni). They are separate from humans. Want verses? Creation doesn't mean relation. This earth is a creation, are we spirit brothers to it?

Well, maybe he could have also pointed out that Jesus never taught the "Plan of Eterenal Salvation" either. Which is strange because you would think he would know his own gospel. He also didn't teach that eternal marriage was required for ones exaltation. In fact he taught against it:

Matthew 22:30
"For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

What angels are not married in heaven? Moroni didn't have a wife? Paul also said:

1 Corinthians 7:8-9 (New American Standard Bible)

8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I.

9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Strange thing to say if marriage was so essential to ones exaltation isn't it?

Maybe he should have pointed out that God today doesn't dwell in temple made with human hands?

Acts 17:24
" The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands;

Or that because Jesus is the High Priest and still lives, there should be no more High Priest named. Read Hebrews Chapter 6 and 7.

Want to talk about how Joseph Smith claimed to have seen Noah and Noe in the Kirtland temple as if they were two separate people? Would be hard for them to do since Noe is just the New Testament name for Noah.

Want more?

In my opinion every Religion is (to an extent) wrong.
Jesus taught a principle - not a business.

God (or Jesus) did not go downtown to register a non profit business
