It's okay. He apparently had vehicle insurance. He was just drinking and driving and damaged a few cars. Virginia is in the alcohol business and couldn't possibly make the penalties surrounding alcohol for it's citizens too tough.
And this dumbass is appealing; 45 days and $750.00 fine?

Perhaps he is a graduate of the Kennedy school of blame. Like all of them, he says he is “not guilty”.
My guns have killed less people than their cars and golf clubs.
