Very well said they are suppose to set an example for us sinners. But we see less and less of that today in the church.

The Full Gospel Church has weathered many storms over the years. They are in a hard season right now, and those of you who are acquainted with prayer need to intercede for these fine people. There are some good people in that congregation.
I know many ugly rumors have circulated the airways lately, my first reaction was to say, "I don't believe it.' What I heard turned my stomach and I don't want to know the details because it's NONE OF MY BUSINESS...Whatever has or hasn't happened, they need prayer and not a bunch of heartless people picking them to pieces. Folks swim like sharks around wounded people when they need to be offering a hand or a shoulder to cry on.
There's not a finer woman in this world than Sister Sharon Taylor. She's a godly woman who has overcome hardships, trials, sickness, and has always presented herself to be a true lady. I love her humble spirit and her wisdom. I've loved both of them my whole life, but there's just something undeniably special about Sister Sharon.
When we see a crisis hit like what's just happened, it should strike a chord of fear in us all and should make us very reluctant to point fingers or throw stones. The Bible warns us, when we get all wrapped up in uncovering others' faults, to take care lest we also fall under the same temptations. The best thing we can pray for is spiritual healing and reconciliation where possible, and step back and let the Lord do the rest. Whatever the outcome, God can still receive the glory when people get out of the way and let Him work. It's still His best will that no one be lost! What's more important, that people make it to heaven or for us to get to say, "See, I told you so!"
As I said earlier, this church has survived floods, fire, sickness, tragedy, and now is in one of its most difficult seasons. We can pray for them and trust God, who is EVER FAITHFUL, to help them come out on the other side. We all know that we're not supposed to put our faith in man, but in God instead...times like this we're reminded that unless we stay prayed up and in the Word, anyone can fall. I pray for God's will to be done and I pray for God to wrap His arms tightly around my dear sister and around this whole family.
Taylor family, I love you. The anchor WILL HOLD.

Everyone is talking about the Taylor family needing prayer, this I agree with but what about Christy and her family? So many people have been on here bashing her like she did this whole thing by herself. If you ask me, she and Fred need prayer more than anyone. We cannot and do not have the right to judge them for we are all sinners at one time or another. I know there is talk of her and doing this kind of thing before but someone said it well on here a couple of days ago, "walk a mile in someone else's shoes"s. Things can look perfect on the outside but be total hell on the inside. So please while you people are praying for "the Taylor family" pray also for Christy and her family. True Christians pray for everyone not just the ones they pick and choose.

Well,I am in no way a "christian",so Im gonna tell it like it should have been told in the first place. How do you go from calling someone Mom and Pop and helping "Mom" at her death bed to sleeping with Pop? Kristy is SICK and so is Fred! Its unbelievable how you people get on here and expect sympathy for the 2 people who are causing extreme damage to not only their families but the families of the church and in the community that looked upon Fred for leadership.I hope they can never come home to "peace".They are the last 2 people that deserve anything, from anyone right now!

I'm personally disgusted at all of you. Shame on you "ALL" for getting on here talking the way you are. Shouldn't you be reading your bibles instead of reading "CRAP" on the internet? And shame on Matewan Church of God for trying to use a bad situation to try and gain new members!!! PATHETIC

Well sinner bless everyone's hearts in this "chirstian" community. Life is full of disappointments and if this has shaken their faith so much then they weren't right with God anyways. So there you go, no one is going to heaven. And as far as sister Sharon goes being on her "death bed" poor pitiful her. If she was taking care of business in her marriage then none is of this shit would have happened in the first place. I don't care how mad anyone is this is the truth, people don't just stray away unless something is not right. And as far as the "extreme damage" goes, get over it people. None of us have to answer for what happened, so let God do his job. If he is angry over this, he will FORGIVE AND FORGET. So everyone needs to mind their own business and get you're shit right instead of worrying about what else is going on in this good "christian" community.

Fred Taylor has been looked up on as a man of God for years. He was respected by his members and alot of sinners as well. Yes, he is human and can make mistake as we all can do. BUT this man has stood for years and preached against adultery among other things as well. He's given people advice against this, when they were fighting battles of this type of situation. He knew his bible well, when it come to this. I am a sinner and I can't see for the life of me see , the nights he stood upon that pulpit night after night knowing in his heart and the times he looked out in the congregation of his people and seen this woman knowing he was doing this. He was cheating anyways, what would it have took upon himself to just stand up for the respect of GOD alone and say its time he needed to steps down he wasn't where he was suppose to be with God. He didn't have to explain why to anyone God knew why, then bring out the affair after. Him & her had kept the affair a secret all this that time, what was it going to hurt for alittle long. I just can't see it of all things fooling with something that can take the breathe right out of you any minute. And I heard he had called back here to one of his deacons and told him to tell the members , he was so sorry for what happen, NO HE NEEDS TO BE A MAN AND STAND UP AND TELL THEM ALL HIMSELF FACE THEM FOR THE DISGRACE HIS HAS BROUGHT UPON THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES. Yes it was Christy's fault too if not her it would have been someone else it was in his mind regardless and she is no better than he is. She is a Jezebel herself to bring the shame and embarrassment upon her son, he is a great kid and plays a big part in the church. But I hope no one looks upon this innocent child and blames him. As a mother on her behalf she isn't. And as to these people blaming Sister Sharon thats is so sad, no one makes one cheat thats what divorces are for. She is a Good woman.

OMG, I have been on here reading all of this stuff everyday but never writing anything because it's none of my business but would you people listen to yourselves? Never in my whole life have I ever heard such bickering between people over something. There are so many people on here who have REAL ISSUES with this situation. Unless you are the one who got cheated on what role do you play in all of this? As far as the church members go at Full Gospel you people were looking up to the wrong person. I have known Fred for years but I never made him out to be anymore than just a man who God called to preach his word. He was never my "God". Maybe disappoint set in on me when I heard of all of this but my interest in it is minimal. I have the right to say what I think about the situation but not the right to judge anyone. I can imagine how much God is hurting over this whole thing, not just at Christy and Fred but everyone else who is causing such chaos. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS PEOPLE, OTHERS WILL DO AS THEY PLEASE NO MATTER WHAT THE CONSEQUENCES ARE AND WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT NOW? Get a new subject to bitch on, this is OLD NEWS.
