back in the 1980,s suffolk county employees fired csea and started their own union AME since they did that suffolk employees recieved raises that were well over due when csea ran the place and threaned layoffs all the time. If nasau county wants to be represented fire csea and start their own union. do not hire ame as they are now doing simular things that csea did but took them almost 30 years to get corrupted so if you people want to keep your jobs fire csea beleave me they will hurt not getting their union dues they collect every pay check, and all these towns should do the same including brookhaven which has one of the most corrupt union people in the history of this town

Nassau's state of financial disarray has been prevalent for well over 20 years - it has only worsened over time. Very doubtful any union could help county workers there. AME has yet to come to a contract after almost 3 years, so that rational I don't think applies.
