Loose dog attacks 3 in Madisonville
Police and emergency crews were called Wednesday after a loose dog bit several people and kept them trapped inside their home.
Officers said the pit bull terrier attacked three people in Madisonville, leaving them with minor injuries.
Emergency crews were unable to get to the injured people when they arrived because the dog was still running loose, but animal control officers were finally able to remove the dog and place it inside a van.
Neighbors said the dog had attacked people at least twice previously this year.
The incident remains under investigation
