I always mowed the lawn when I was little and it didnt hurt a bit. The child probably wanted to do it. Whats the harm. If you are so worred about it why dont you offer to help. OR rather than just gossip about them trying to get them in trouble, go over and tell them your opinion. I bet your not perfect and you do some things that others think is wrong. Wheres the law written that a 6 year old is not allowed to mow the grass. There are a lot them out there riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, those dirty rotten parents should be turned in. Start makeing your list. Make them all unloving parents lose their kids and break the kids heart and their hearts. You are one of those people who cant keep your nose out of others business, You like to cause trouble.

Btw he is 7... and educated on safety of the machine...as well as highway saftey and safety on all other thing that he may encounter...I may be wrong to educate my son so he does things responsibly so he does not injury him self or anyone else but I would much rather know that he knows what he is doing then not know...I have the cofindence in all my children to respect any machine they use ...you feel the need to report have at it...it won't be the first and sure it won't be the last...no sweat off my brow...

Wow the parents should be turned in to cps for letting their boy mowing a lawn,
keep your nose in your own business I.m sure if you have kids someone could get you for something, maybe like making themselves a p&j sandwich , Don;t forget they are using a knife,
You just have way too much time on your hands peeking out the windows at your neighbors,

it takes one second for an accident to happen and they are gone or missing a limb. You sir are an idiot. You would never forgive yourself if something happened. There is NO SUCH THING as a responsibe 7 yr old. There was an accident involving a lawn mower on jefferson ave yrs ago and the kid got killed.

never seen that law, he's fine, dad taught him the safety stuff, and if the dad thinks his son is responsible enough to cut the grass on his own property then you need to keep your nose out of it and shut up!
I truly haven't heard any such stupid law, it's a responsibility thing, on their own property!
Bravo Zulu for the Dad teaching his son!

No child should be mowing the grass. Nor operating any kind of machinery. If you are that lazy and can't mow your own lawn get a goat.

Have the wife do it like most guys. Drive around in the summer and quite a few ladies are on some nice lawn tractors.

7 yrs old never, maybe 12 or older. Strong boy and can do the steep slopes I have. Oh I as a woman know how to mow in a needed time, wants the extra help no problem. He does the outside and I do the inside. Inside is 360 days a year.
Yes have heard of accidents over the years, lost limbs and deep lacerations. Wouldn't even want to chance that!

I have been mowing the lawn since i was probably 9, i have used a lawn tractor since i was probably 11. At that age its something to do, and i always thought it was fun. And why do you care what they do anyways? The decision of having his son mow his lawn is not going to affect you in anyway possible at all. So...STFU

From what I read in the news, more kids commit suicide from school bullying then get hurt from lawnmowers. I guess we shouldn't send our kids to school either. Been thinking about pulling my kid out, and getting him a robot teacher, much safer.
