An officer can sit right in front of the bar if he wants. He merely needs to see a violation of the vehicle and traffic law to pull the car over. I think maybe you should get a refund on your law degree sir.

There's a big difference between law enforcement and gestapo tactics. If every bar/resturant (eg. Village Inn/ Violi's) had a cop sitting in the parking lot, the affect on business would be astounding. Perhaps you should review your law enforcement/common sense degree - sir.

His "recent lapse of judgment"....believe me there are plenty....I just do not see how he could still be an officer and pull people over after this dui situation...Plus the alcholism problem in this town is so off the charts

I wonder if anyone he's given a ticket or DUI in the last few weeks can challange them, since he's gonna be a cop with a record. I'd postpone any case I have until he's dismissed as a cop, then proceed, because now he is an unreliable witness.
