The Village Inn is by far the BEST.

Why? Because the dining room is lovely, service usually very good and they know how to mix a drink.
The menu has something for everyone and 6 or 7
'specials' every night. They try very hard to make sure that you are enjoying your meal and usually one of the owners stops by the table to check with you and if for some reason, you're not happy, they will change it for you. I must say though, in all the years that I've been going there, I've always been very happy. That's another thing, the food is always consistant.

The Cecot family has owned and operated the VI for many, many years and the younger generation operates it now. They were taught the right way to do things. Leave room for one of their homemade desserts. You won't be disappointed.

Its not cheap but you get what you pay for. Try it for your next "night out for a good meal".

What kind of price range are you looking at? The Village Inn is very nice and very expensive. Vino Vidi Vici is also very nice, slightly less expensive.

No price range.
Last time I was in town I was told the Village inn had closed. I'm glad to see they are open.

Dars--very good--reasonable priced...great soups. Village Inn..pricey and always leave with a headache, empty wallet and stomach. vino vidi vici is supposed to be pretty good...a tad pricey but still good,

Dars ALL THE WAY. I suggest the chicken bacon melt or chicken alfredo! You order something and you get a platter of food plus the alcohol selection is very expansive. The waitresses are very friendly and Dar herself is in the kitchen working almost everyday. Very friendly and welcoming. You always feel like family! <3

ever think the bartenders at Tand T's actually know how to mix drinks the right way, and you have been drinking it wrong the whole time? There is life beyond watertown.

We've been regulars at Violi's for years but had dinner at Vino Vidi Vici the other night and were impressed. The food was as good as Violi's and the Village Inn or better and it wasn't as expensive. Great service. Great atmosphere. Happy to have more options in the north country!

It's the new reataurant in the middle of Hart Haven. It's mostly Italian I would say but they have steaks and seafood too. Not sure if maybe a menu is online? I had a pasta dish with a ton of seafood in a white wine sauce and it was phenomenal!
