Like the other person said, it's great to know you won't be there! You really have no clue what you're talking about and are clearly jealous. Get a life and stop trying to tear others down.

Last night 4 of us went to dine about 9:35 pm, hoping to grab a late night bite to eat, we were doing some last minute shopping and thought, well, we are here...(the hours state 10PM)...we were refused service. Later in the night we heard we were not the only ones that were turned away at the door. Can someone explain to me how a place has posted hours but they turn away customers? This is not good business. Maybe our money just isn't good enough or they are so rich they don't need customers at night. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have to agree with you. I am not Italian, but should the food have some flavour instead of just tasting like tomatoes?

You can't expect to show up 25 minutes before closing and have the kitchen prepare a meal and give you time to eat it. Common sense, no?

So you are saying the sign means come early or we won't serve you? Any other place will serve until hours posted. Maybe you should rewrite your hours, last meal 9 pm, everyone out by 10 pm because we have better things to do then serve the public like we are in business to do....... Get REAL! How long does it take to make a pizza??

I have been to other places in Massena that have hours posted and have their doors locked early if business is slow. Village inn and violis, it happens often. It has also been the case in many places when I travel. It is disappointing at the time but it happens a lot.

We had a fine dinner last nite @ Vino Vidi Vici's. The food was prepared perfectly and the presentation was very nice. Service was on par with other fine restaurants here in the Massena area. The place is beautiful on the inside. Impressed for sure.

25 minutes? Be reasonable. People like to bitch about the stupidest things. It's not always about you. Did you consider the kitchen needs to be shut down, everything washed, sides prepared for the next day and office work to be done ? Why are not the employees afforded a life just because you waited until 9:35 to have dinner?

Gourmet my ass! All of the "gourmet" ingredients are coming out of JARS, and CANS!!! Not fresh "local" food like advertised. Staff seems to not have a clue, very inexperienced waitstaff and bartenders. Seems that no one knows what is going on. Why would there be no wine list or drink menu, and no one even knows how much each drink is. For an a la carte menu (nothing included) the prices are definitely high. I support local business but I would rather go to Sabad's and get great service and ALWAYS awesome "fresh" food, not jarred/canned sodium filled artichoke, peppers, and sundried tomatoes! To bad they really got off on the wrong foot, first impression two thumbs down!

Not to mention the tyrant of a cook who does whatever he wants, thats why at 9:35 at night people don't get served because he wants to be done and go home!

If u don't want to serve until 10:00 then your hours shouldn't say you are open until 10:00.

Most of the employees at a restaurant don't go to work until 3 o'clock in the afternoon or later. This is the time they "work" and it is a reasonable expectation to be served during hours of operation. Kitchen cleaning, prep work and office work are not being done at 9:30 pm. As a new establishment, the top priority should be the customer, not the lazy cooks desire to go home. If the employees need to be out the door at 10 o'clock they need to find a different job.

r u serious? if it says open til 10 it should be open til 10 that means if someone walks in at 9:57 they should still be served, that means all employees should expect to be working for ar least an hour after closing time
u seem intelligent droppy, but some of your opinions border on being retarded

Are they in business for a reason? And we waited because we were out shopping and the sign said open till 10 pm!!! you are very defensive for someone that wants to run Massena and support jobs.....

1. If sign says 10pm, they should serve till 10pm, especially if you are a new business trying to get established.
2. Fine dining? Get real.

You can go anywhere you want to eat. So guess I won't have to worry about seeing you when I enjoy my dinner. Their wait staff is inexperienced! Of course they are and they will get better!

Our meal from bread & oil, appetizers, entree, & dessert was awesome! Calamari is incredible.
