Dogs to receive bravery awards for saving toddler

Two dogs who saved a toddler from drowning will be recommended for bravery
awards.
The Rottweiler cross and Staffordshire terrier, named Muck and Tank, pulled the
two-year-old from a neighbour's dam in central Queensland on Thursday.
Police say the boy had wandered from his home to a nearby property .. and his
dogs had followed.
They say the marks on the boy and in the mud clearly show how the two dogs
saved his life.
RSPCA Queensland chief executive Mark Townend says his group will consider in
February whether the dogs qualify for an animal award which recognises bravery
