Can you tell me where you can find a job in Massena that pays at least 9 or 10 dollars a hour? I want to find one but cannot. I don,t have any training or experience much but want to work. Any serious suggestions?

If you actually wanted a job, you'd find one. You might not start out with $10 per hour, but apply yourself and you'll get raises if you're a good worker with a positive attitude. Not only that, but employers who offer really good jobs will pass up those resumes with years of no work and if they see someone who currently works, they like that attitude, not one who sits around collecting handouts acting negative.

Hey Mr ASSumption...what does your crystal ball say I doing now??

You got real issues...why are you idiots all sparked and ready to fly over every little thing? Always calling people lazy.... The person wants to work and wants it to be worth the time....$10 an hour is peanuts and I'd say that is a reasonable min wage for people to seek.

Min. wage is not $10 per hour. Sure that wage would be nice but what is your education, your job skills and work experience?$10 per hour for skilled trades person who worked steady, has work experience and a solid resume is a pathetic wage, but for a high school drop out with no experience that wage will be very hard to come by. If you can't find the job you want, go back to school and train for that job you want! Sitting on the computer whining will do nothing!

You have no intentions of supporting yourself as long as the handouts are still available. Soon they won't, prepare yourself now, get off your asses and change your lives for the better. Working gives you a purpose, you will meet great people and it feels good to support yourself and move forward in a career. I've been hired for very high paying jobs that had requirements many didn't have. That requirement was janitorial / maintenance experience! I took that job when I was still in High School because no job was ever beneath me when I didn't have one at all and I did it for $3.35 per hour! I rode my bike in the rain or whatever the weather because I had a job to go to. The welfare scums today think they have to be given a car in order to get to work. I want to work, you do not, so who's the piece of sh*t?

I'm not complaining, I offered some advice that anyone who works already knows. Don't you want to have a decent life? Do you want to grow old living off welfare and never have the money to travel and enjoy your life? You might start out at min. wage, but you are gaining experience and paying into your social security for retirement. When I was young, I never thought I'd see the age I am, but it comes up quick and now I'm really glad I put the hours in while I was young and could work that much. Now that I'm older, I can't work as long and the closer I get to retirement, the happier I'll be that I did it while I was young. It's your life, make it great!

Malinda....just a thought...you could try the mall. They have customer service positions Maybe one will open up. Also, Home Depot and Walmart seem to hire a lot. Don't listen to the negativity on here. Obviously, they have to fight like preschoolers ove every little thing posted. Good luck to you!

I hire older people usually. They still start at $8.00 an hour. Once I see the work ethic come out, then I pay $10.00 an hour. Eventually they goto $12.00. I'm a small business that only has 6 employees. You have to start low. I hardly ever hire though since no one ever leaves. I don't advertise for help. People seek me out after hearing how much the other employees like working here. Good luck. Don't just look for ads. Go knock on doors.
