Wow, now that is a lie. If you really worked for the mall office then you would know that. The CEO of dicks is talking about remodeling tj max, they are just waiting for the lease to go up and then they are moving in. And that's so not true about the natives. Your lies make me laugh.

I have worked at this mall for the past 5 years. its not going anywhere. they are working on putting more stores in. Dicks sporting goods being one of them. yes its a sad excuse of a mall now. but that's also because no one in this town shops here. Local business is what saves shops in small towns like these.

so again, MALL NOT CLOSING PEOPLE.

No one goes to the mall because nobody wants to see Denise's ugly face! She's just miserable. Plain N simple. Avoid Sears at all cost!

Well I can say for sure that Gamestop is leaving...that store is essentially moving to Potsdam.

And if FYE closes so goes the food court. It would already be maimed by Gamestop's departure
Sears as a company IS in trouble...Sears reported a $2.4 billion quarterly loss in November, and officials said it would “spin-off” about 1,250 stores and cut jobs.

There must be a reason why Gamestop, Radio Shack, and TJ Maxx moved to the Haven. Perhaps they knew.

But seriously the only folks we can blame are ourselves, because we could have used the free market to "vote" with our dollars. We could have invested in the mall but instead we are too worried about saving a few bucks. We support retailers like Walmart which do not support US manufacturing jobs. Also Walmart lowers the average retail worker's wage by about 10% and has ruined small business. Plus the average 200-employee Walmart costs its community $400,000 a year due to the fact that their employees are all on public assistance. Your tax dollars subsidize Walmart's profits!
