I copied this quote off the patch site. It was posted by someone named valerie in the middle of January. Was she lying? If anyone actually believes that kids are in closets being taught than you deserve to be called an idiot.
If I thought for one second my kid was being taught in a windowless fire hazard enviroment I would be up at the school with the Fire Marshall day 1. Grow up people and stop being lured into these idiotic discussions.
"Two weeks ago I was in Bayview after school because my son left his book in his desk. When we left I took notice of the resource rooms. I commented to the secretary how nice they were and she told me that out of the 5 of them, 3 of them were actually "closets" previously. I couldn't believe it. They were done so nicely. The rooms were not big but when you are working with a small group, how much room do you really need? From what I saw they had a teachers desk and 3-4 kids chairs. Each of the rooms I saw looked very cozy. Are your rooms different? I remember in Kirdahy last year, the PTA closet was about 10 x 10. These rooms were about that maybe one was smaller."
