This place was very difficult to deal with. Overall, they did a fair job but the job took way too long (one month behind schedule) and the car had to go back several times because things weren't done right the first time. Basically, it became obvious that there was no inspection of the vehicle done before the car was picked up. Based on the time it took to repair the car and the amount of times the car had to go back because the job wasn't done correctly the first time I would not recommend this place.

240 auto body was great to deal with. Staff super friendly. Handled everything from insurance company to rental. My mercedes was done in 4 days when insurance company told me it would be 27 days. So happy with the turn around time and the work. Car looks better then when I bought it new. Im so happy they relocated to a biger shop in huntington station and added a full detail station. They do the BEST full details I have seen. Cant wait to go back for the detail. I would defently recommend them to anyone and every one!

I was recently in an accident with my bmw and was extermely upset with the amount of damage. I took it to 240 Auto Body in their new location in Huntington, after recieving a referral from my neighbor. The staff was great and put me at easy that my car would look like it did the day I took it home from the showroom. They handled everything for me and received a loaner car at their shop. After about 3 weeks I picked up my car. They were right, it looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor!! The quailty of the work couldnt be better!! I am so glad I took the recommendation from my neighbor and would for sure recommend them to everyone!

3 weeks before I had to turn my lease in I was in an accident. I was completly freaking out, Didnt know what I was going to do or how to get it fixed quick and perfect.(Never been in an accident)I ran into a friend at the suppermarket who recommended 240 auto body. I was nervious being this was my first time that it wouldnt be done in time and would walk away with a large bill for damages on my lease. The staff there was AMAZING, they proved me with a tow to get the car to them. I got a ride over there and once I got there they had a loaner car all ready to go for me which I didnt expect. The helped me file the claim through my insurance and from there took care of everything. All I had to do was take the loaner and wait for the call my car was done. Sure enough they had my car looking better then when I picked it up from the dealer and I still had enough time to drive it around for a week before I had to return it. Overall they did a amazing job on the vehicle and made a scary nervious time as easy and relaxing for me a possible. I now have a shop that I could recommend and use!

After seeing that most of the post had good comments, I figured I found a great place to bring my car. Turns out I was wrong and I suspect the good comments were written by employees of the shop. Overall, this place was very difficult to deal with. The owner of the shop would never return phone calls; promises they made as to when the car would be ready were not kept and when the car was ready it was not thoroughly washed or cleaned. The engine bay still had a lot of dust from the bodywork done and none of the fenders lined up. Overall, the car looked average and not the "brand knew" "better than when I bought it" BS the above reviews have. Do yourself a favor and take your car to a different body shop. You will not regret it.

I have been dealing with 240 Auto Body for 20 years and have followed then through the relocations of Syosset Ford. They have repaired my cars on numerous (unfortunately) occasions and they have been nothing but professional, courteous and responibile as well as reasonalble priced.(not all of my repairs were civered by insurance). I have referred many friends there and they have have nothing but positive experiences. While some might say they did not have a good experience, please understand that some people will never be satisfied. I on the otherhand have ALWAYS been satisfied. ALso, I am NOT and employee, but rather a loyal customer who has a car there right now. I HIGHLY recommend 240 Auto Body to anyone who needs a trustworthy place to have repairs done.

Initially did a great job. Took my car back for minor modification to the original job and it came back terrible. Inconsistent work. Lots of song and dance, but no consistency in the quality of workmanship.

Basically, as the name says, Joe the owner makes unfilled promises and does not supervise his staff. I heard promise after promise; only to find all of them unkept. Once the car was finished it was obvious there was no supervision of the staff because a lot of things were incorrectly fixed. For example, the paint was constantly chipping, the fender was not mounted correctly - I actually found this out from a different bodyshop who showed me the fender had only one bolt holding it when there should have been four bolts. Basically this shop is a scam. They will take your money (or insurance money) and poorly fix your car. If you do a little research you can find out all the problems this place has such as NYS tax liens against them.

These guys should be embarrassed with their work. I have proof that they used damaged goods which were either bought on the black market or they were damaged when they were improperly installed. The work was so done so poor. Fenders didn't match up, things were put together wrong. It was a complete joke. The final proof of what a mistake I made trusting Joe to do a good job was when I had to bring the car to another autobody shop to fix the things Joe was supposed to fix. I also asked around and the inside word is this place is a chop shop.

all I have to say is that if you wrote a good post on here, then you made money off your cliam and you commit fraud also. This guy joe and his "manager" Mario is a piece of work and if your one of his "good" customers you either A: have no idea about body work or B: need money really badly and want your car to have "more damage" that you know was not there, and like being in a rental car for 2 months with Joe "taking care of it". This whole operation made me feel like dirt and when my Envoy was finished after two months of broken promises never kept and terrible work, I felt like I got robbed. How the dealership can have this guy on their property I have no idea, maybe they like having a complete crook and are on the take also. if you are bringing your car here and you never have before, think again...go anywhere else if you like your car and sanity! How many times does this guy shut down and relocate because he is running from the IRS?

The N.Y. Attorney General would have a field day in this place!! If you love your self and your car FIND ANOTHER AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOP. They will damage it without telling you, and keep you in a rental car for at least one month. Joe and Mario "what a pair". I found a really good way of knowing the truth, when they speek, whatever Joe and Mario say, the opposite is the truth.

I brought in my car and had all the problems mentioned by everyone else. Months overdue, Joe will set you up in one of Ford's BS loaners and Joe will have his secretary make the same promise to you every week "we are almost done and need just a few more days." LIARS! The repair job on my car was so bad it was embarrassing. Then I found out why. My insurance agent said half the claim money for my vehicle went to NYS for back taxes owed. Apparently NYS had a lien on Joe and his business. Did Joe inform me of this? Of course not. But I am sure that even though Joe received 1/2 the insurance proceeds that he made a nice profit on the job since he didn't follow through with most of the promises he made. STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! AND FORD, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED AT YOURSELF FOR HAVING THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR DEALERSHIP.
