Judge: Muttontown must get Old Brookville police financials
Old Brookville must deliver to Muttontown the police financial records and analyses it kept from the final years the villages were partnered in the department, a state Supreme Court judge ruled.

Why shouldn't such information be made available to Muttontown? The Village of Muttontown contracted for their services, and the Village Board should know what they were paying for. There is nothing to hide. And if the new Muttontown Police Dept found a better or more financially efficient way of doing business, it should be shared with the Old Brookville Police Dept so they, in turn, could benefit.
