Massapequa Park man charged with selling heroin

John Twarowski, 29, of Harmony Drive, sold heroin to undercover detectives three times in Wantagh and Massapequa during a three-month period beginning in June, Narcotics Bureau detectives said.

Massapequa Park is known for drug dealers this is where they all live. I can name 40 delaers who live in the park. All big houses familys kids going to Mass schools but they all sell drugs for a living!

If you know 40, why don't you make a phone call or email the list to the Police. OK, i know they most likley not do anything but by doing nothing you are part of the problem!

not really man, i know it may not be as glorious as crappy flushing queens where you live, but just because a grown man got caught doenst mean anything. yeah kids smoke pot, and some screw ups do more, but thats in every town. don't rag on them for having money

this is a great middle class neighborhood. post some names and addresses of theses drug dealers and where they are doing business and watch how quickly we can rid the area of this problem.

I agree Massapequa has a big percentage of drug dealers and users. Heroin is a big problem in Massapequa these days. Alcohol, is not even an issue any-longer. The 7th pct is the slowest pct in Nassau County the Police are known at the 7th to be slow and unresponsive. They do not like to collar or arrest who would they only work 3 days a week in the Nassau police Department.

Nassau PD are the Lazyest PD in the country overpaid and underworked. Lots of Coke & Herois parties in Massapequa Park.

Massapequa Park has always been know for the spot to score and buy drugs. Brady Park and Caroons Lake has always been a hot spot for drug users. Massapequa is home to the big dealers and there is a big heroin and crack problem in Massapequa.

7th was always a very slow precinct so you are going to get much older cops that are planning on retiring that dont have the motivation or stamina to chase around dealers.

If you go to a busy nassau precinct like the elmont, roosevelt, uniondale area you will see young cops looking to get involved and clean up the streets. Those cops dont want to come to the 7th, nor would they be allowed to.

The majority of nassau cops work hard but the small percentage that dont want to are going to be in the slower precincts.

Nassau cops are not overpaid. A top pay nassau cops salary would not even pay the mortgage alone on an average 450k home.

All the people complaining who make half the salary of a nassau cop also paid 200k for their homes 15 years ago.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS: Nassau County is broke. The county does not want to pay out overtime.

I have the heroin problem down to a specific equation.

#1 arrest--> overtime--> less drugs= more money

#2 no arrest--> no overtime--> more drugs= no money
