I'm trying to contact Topix regarding their "monitoring" process. I'm only speculating but perhaps their system is set up to react to certain words or phrases. Like parental controls on your home computer. Based on worldwide access to the site, the filtering would take time. A comment could show up and then be removed for content once "discovered" by the system. Your votes are a "cookie" issue. They send you a cookie when you vote that lets them know you've been there, or someone on that computer, has been there before. Go in and delete the cookies and vote again. Once the cookie is removed this site thinks you're here for the first time.

I am well aware of how to delete cookies on my computer, I think almost everyone I know can do that with ease. Please go to the appriate thread which was started to discuss this subject, if you really want to discuss it, this thread is for comments on voting for or against Taylor Made. I was merely trying to respond to YOUR question. "just like my vote, where did it go?" You asked me to try to "seriously" explain what was happening, not just on this thread, but several others. I was simply making a suggestion other than the one where everyone seems to think they are the object of computer terrorism. Sorry if I offended you sense of self importance. You have apparently decided that the proplem is one of National concern and the entire topix community is out to get you. Sorry I tried to help.
And it looks like Taylor Made is doing fine without my input.
It's been real nice talking to you and trying to come up with a solution. Remind me to do it again sometime

and I darn good one from what I know. Duckworth is a really great guy with a nice personality (and cute too) so if someone has a problem with him it is their problem. Go Taylormade. I hear a ruor that they were performing at Woodrow Wilson Saturday night with Matt Jones, another great singer. Plan to go see them for another great show.

Taylor Made and Matt Jones are both professional and talented entertainers. We are lucky to have them as West Virginia natives. Enjoy them and be glad that we have such talent in our area. Best of luck to both of them. It is hard to get ahead with people like those who get on here and say mean things.

Taylor Made is a pitiful excuse for a country band. I am from WV and can not stand them. That song,'West Virginia Underground", is ignorant. They have NO singing ability. Way to be too simple West Virginians.
