"Don't Believe in God? You're Not Alone" Proclaims Billboard

A new billboard on Rt. 119 unites atheists. MORGANTOWN -- Atheists in Morgantown now have their own advertisement.

Christianity has been open, welcoming, and loud for years. We've had billboards, fliers, revivals, vacation bible schools, singing and rejoicing, despite opposition. I don't see atheists singing or rejoicing about anything. We ARE a part of colleges, clubs, sports, and money! Where are the atheists? What do they contribute? Now, when people are depressed and worried, vulnerable and easily coerced, they offer something different.

If God doesn't exist and you believe, there is nothing after your death. What did you lose?

If God exists and you don't believe, you go to Hell. You've lost everything.

What would an Atheist have to sing about, you think because we do not believe in God we should sing about a mythical place called hell? more like you want us to think like you brain washed sheep and sing about another Mythical place.

Your all a bunch of douchebags, Im more of an athiest, but maybe their is a god, who knows. Just be a good person, respect everyones beliefs, and be happy with yourself. If their is a god i think he would be nice guy to send people like this heaven if their is one. If not he is as intolerant as all those extremist christians who reject anythign different and il accept hell. But im pretty sure thats not the case.

We are all born atheist and it takes strenuous indoctrination and coercion to make people religious(Christians, Muslims etc).
According to many observers including Richard Dawkins, religious beliefs result from poor education and childhood "indoctrination.
The Bible is a book written by primitive iron age man. If you believe that primitive iron age man had a better understanding of the world than we do right now, then continue believing that:
1. just because someone is said to have been born when his mother was a virgin, that makes him the son of God,
2. there are talking snakes and
3. there are talking donkeys etc.

Christian hypocrisy knows no boundaries, according to their teachings, the only way to salvation is through Jesus.
Christians like Hitler and Mussolini have a chance to go to heaven but their victims the 6 million Jews who did not believe in Jesus Christ have a 00%(zero) chance.
Christianity (Islam too) involve the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.
Example:
You were told since you were young that you will BURN in HELL if you disobey the Bible teachings.
This alone makes Christianity(Islam too) a clear form of TERRORISM.

That is so true. I actually believe in God, but sometimes wonder other things. I'm a truly nice person, partly because I grew up in a Christian community. I'm not trying to tell people to believe the way I do, because everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I expect the same from them, too. I believe my way, you believe yours. End of story. I wouldn't be mad if a Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. came up to my door trying to inform me of the ways of their beliefs. I would keep an open mind about it, try putting myself in their shoes and seriously try to understand where they are actually coming from. Nobody honestly knows 100% if there's a God or not, but it's comforting to think there's one. It bring hope to people who believe. And hope in this day and age, is worth it's weight in gold.

Why do ya'll care who believes in what or who, last I checked we all are here to live our own lives and make our own choices...it doesnt make us bad people because we dont believe, we still love and hurt just like the ones that do believe...I do believe in hell because I think we r living in it, how can u get something so damn great out of this world, some one please tell me that...if "God" is great and exist then why do we live in this world thats filled with so much pain..like 9-11, the wars, people going to malls and schools killing 100's of people, thieves, liar and why would he give sickness to small children and not give them a chance to live their lives, and diseases and take my dad from me so young...now since u BELIEVERS seem to know all the answers then you tell me , why would "God" do all this to us...if there is a "God" I thought he was suppose to be good and help us...Yeah God is really good huh!?!
