When they start beating some good teams you'll have something to brag about, until then shut the he'll up. I'm sick of hearing how good they are and when they get to the playoffs they get their ass kicked. Go big blacks!!!!!

They have a bunch od AA teams on their schedule. You guys have been playing against much smaller schools for years and couldn't take advantage of it. We will get some use out of your field in December. You wont. lol

Wahama good? That's funny, they just play small schools that doesn't even have enough to make up a team. Get in your right division and play some real ball Wahama. You get to play offs and then can't get anywhere when you have to play a real team.

ImPrEsSeD wrote: Whooooooo the cheerleaders for wahama actually are good this year. the team is good again this year but the cheerleaders are impressive. You are indeed correct. I don't remember them being this good since the 90's when Connie Gilland coached them. I hope they start competing again.

Wahama kids have more class in their little finger than PPHS kids have in their entire body. Stop calling Wahama a big school. They count 283 kids in the 9th. 10th. and 11th. grades. PPHS has more than that in the 9th. grade alone.
PPHS stole kids from Wahama and Hannan for years and it backfired on them, putting them at the smallest school in the AAA Class instead of being the largest school in the AA Class. They then sent some kids back to Wahama and Hannan and tried to tell the WVSSAC that their enrollment had gone down enough to be put back in AA. But it backfired on them, even with the aid of the Bd. of Ed. writing a letter to the WVSSAC to try and get them back down in Class AA. This is public knowledge.
They should act with some class and stop nagging Wahama for being successful while playing in Class A and being in the (middle) of the classification. Wahama deserves every win they get because they play schools their size in every game. Point Pleasant can't stand it. Jealosy is their main reason for putting Wahama down. They have no class at all in Point Pleasant or at PPHS.
Wayne put them in their place last year too. Put that in your pipe and smoke it PPHS! You can be the BIG BLACKS all you want. I will take our White Falcons any day.

Guess those who say Wahama plays nobody now have to eat their words! They are in the state championship after beating 2 schools that came down from the AA ranks this year to get back to the Island. The last I heard, Magnolia beat PPHS in the class AA play off the year before last! So put that in your pipe and smoke it PPHS! You are not the best thing in Mason County! You just want to be!

Crazy how much people from Point and Wahama just do not get along. I graduated from Point in the early 2000's and even then Wahama had very good football teams. I can remember playing youth league with several players from Wahama and never had a problem with any of them. Always was the fans and non-players that had something to say. I really do not think that it bothers any of the kids that play. They worry about their own team and schedule and thats it. Wahama was undefeated one year and got upset in the first round back at the old Point field. I remember this because several of us from the Point team went to the game and painted our faces. Whether it is Point or Wahama its something special to have a Mason County team in Wheeling 3 straight years. And for the record, Magnolia beat Point back in 2008 in the first round by 1 pt. Magnolia went on to lose the state championship. I will be up in Wheeling to cheer on the White Falcons. It will be great to see them bring home a state title. In the end its not the fans that really did anything. Its the players that play the game and these young men deserve to win.
