Throw the key away on the weirdo! If he was innocent, why didn't he tell the jury? I would have been yelling my innocence from day 1, not contacting women from all over the country!

I have some new ideas with everything that's going on in town, but with all my buddies being arrested/harassed by the fuzz for public intoxication/ theft/ tax evasion, I'm running out of supporters. Hell I'm not going to have a place to park my Ford "sign truck edition" F150 when Vic's is seized by the IRS!

I can't stand those fascist morrow police... they're always harassing the fine, upstanding citizens of morrow - like Bruce and Bob Miller. The MPD is just a bunch of thugs that steal our booze, drugs, and illegal water taps... It is unconstitutional, I tell ya!!!!

I bet they are not as bad as the Monroe cops that sit and hide and wait on you to go over 50 M.P.H. on route 4 as you pass through there cesspool of a city.

So if you go over the speed limit you >shouldn't< get a ticket?

I have never received a speeding ticket! Just think that they could be spending time stopping real crimes that are taking place in Monroe. How many thefts are reported each week at the Cincinnat Outlets? No, they want to sit in the dark at 5:30 a.m. and ticket people in a speed trap for going 55 mph on a state route. I call that Mayberry style of income producing.

I stand by my daily observations. They are just wasting taxpayers money by writing piddly tickets.

Lol...hey fuzz, hope you get'em and I hope Big Bill gets elected in Morrow, whereever that is?

I heard bill will be campaigning by putting custom "Thompson for Mayor" labels on liquor and beer bottles - this is, after all, a beer drinking town. Other campaign materials include custom labeled and imprinted alka seltzer tablets that will show the MPD's cruisers... You see: who wouldn't want to drink themselves into a stupor on "Thompson for Mayor" liquor and then fight the next day's hangover with a couple "Dissolve the morrow police department" alka seltzer??? I can almost hear it now,'Plop, Plop; no Fuzz Fuzz.' I can't hardly wait for the day that Bill is on the campaign trail... just shaking hands and removing womens' facial hair. I heard that SkinMedica, the makers of Vaniqa, have already committed a healthy campaign contribution. Oh, what a glorious day it will be when Bill The Sign Guy is elected!!!!!!

Hey Big Blue...I don't work in Morrow so I don't give a shit about what some idiot, who will never get elected I'm sure, says about dissolving a police dept. ( I'm sure that's what a community wants, get real) I pray that you or your family never needs an officer to help them in the middle of the night when someone is breaking in your house, just know that even though you hate police, they would take a bullet for you. Were here to protect your ass, not kiss it.

Hey Fuzz....tell that to Barney and boys in Monroe, cause all they do is set speed traps, and ticket hard working men and woman who go 55 in a 50....now is that putting their life on the line? Don't think so! What a about the time a bank was robbed right under their nose while they were sitting a half block away looking for illegal left hand turns? They never did catch the robber but, hey, they made cash for the general fund with 5 $140.00 tickets that day! So save the "ass protecting" pat on the backs for officers that really do police work!

Cincinnati Outlets is a private business property. They have their own policies/equipment for dealing with theft (which aren't the best I've ever heard of)

I'm not interested in paying local police to do store security work.

Wake up and read the police reports.....they get five or six calls to outlet mall every week.....many times the bad guys get away while Barney is sitting down a lane, hiding, lurking and trying to catch a speeder going home from work at a blazing violation of 55 mph on a state route.

Doesn't matter. If you ask some of the employees what their store policy is for dealing with shoplifters, you'd know why that happens. And if "Barney" as you like to call them, is at one end of the place, the shoplifters will just be at the other end.

If....IF it really bothered them, they would contract with private security and change their policies. They can also pay the police privately during their off-duty hours to be there. Not an uncommon practice. In reality, they see the losses as the cost of doing business that they can pass on to you and me.

Now, if Barney was out at the private outlet mall and there was a real emergency someplace, the public would then be screaming foul because they were working for...excuse me at.... a private business....

Monroe has spent over a million dollars to stop a coke plant from being built and is planning on spending more. 6 of 7 council members are voting to line the pocket of a law firm. Sending Barney Sparks and the boys out to write tickets is helping to pay the bills. The citizens are outraged, but it is what it is....lol. Like they say, "We are the next West Chester".....ha ha!
