Please note the first line of my response to your comment…

I have apologized to you if my style offends you…

This should be enough to placate…

Your comment that my style comes across as “Lazy…gutless…and flippant all at once”…is your opinion…as well as some others I am sure…it has validity because it is your opinion, and you are a member of our community…

I respect you as a fellow member of our community…so I apologized to you…

Perhaps you can allow me the ability to be me…

“You don’t have to be wrong for me to be right”…this gem was learned the hard way by me…perhaps you can see me within this framework…and we can both be good people?...

Chris, please, enough with the ellipses..!
How to write poorly...
Overuse mutated ellipses...
Never use a comma...a dash...a (semi)colon...or a period...
If you absolutely must end what would otherwise pass for a sentence...for instance...toss in either two...or four (or more) dots as an "ellipsis"...
This will come across as lazy...gutless...and flippant all at once...

I don't know what kind of training they are going to get but it should include riding in the dirt and learning how to lay a bike down. I grew up riding in the dirt and then started riding on the street, which is very un-safe with most cars not looking for a motorcycle. I am 73 and still ride; however, I ride a YT 250 which we use to call enduro and now they call it dual sport.
Agreed. Trail riding is great for the basics, and racing in the beginner-novice classes is even better ( for those so inclined). I have no problem with kids taking a course, but government mandating it isn't working for me.

Cervix, needing some attention? Wasn't talking to you, baby. Move along now.
"Needing some attention?" Apparently.

"Wasn't talking to you, baby". Interesting. I don't believe the initial post from Chris was directly to you, and yet, there you were. Herb would frown over your remedial approach.

"Move along now." Doubtful. The potential for abusing you is far too alluring "baby".
