This is a nice article and all...but in the end, all I feel is sorry & sad for the family of the 63 year old woman who was killed in the accident. Killed because a negligent driver wasn't paying attention, "swerved left and crossed the center line into an oncoming car's path," resulting in this poor woman's death.

I also would like to know some more facts in this accident.
Erica's grandmother is guilty of killing Mrs. Harmon. That is the only fact one can get from this story. Everyone needs to remember that Erica's grandmother was and is the cause of all her pain and suffering.
That out of the way, "WONDERFUL", for Erica's recovery! She has shown what an awesome person she is. As for her former friends, "Self-centered kids." She need not worry about them. From this story she will make many more friends that will last along time and be much more supportive, as true friends are.
Erica, you have been blessed by, "God", to experience life in a different way. You have shown him and many others how to overcome hardships. Nothing in this life is FAIR. Never has been and never will be. Any one who believes in fairness is living a dream.
More blessing will come your way as recovery continues.
Will include you in my prayers.
Success!

God Bless you Erica! I'm sorry that you lost friends, that's not fair. Maybe when they are older they will realize that you are an amazing young woman and have achieved more in your young life than most ever will! Continue your hard work and your faith and the sky for you is the limit!
